We are a specialty studio florist company offering floral décor and stylyzing for private or corporate events, weddings, and delivery. All arrangements are specially designed for each individual client’s vision. The changing seasons are also a major inspiration, and we strive to use local flower availabilities to help guide our design whenever possible.

i founded portland bloem out of a true love and desire to work with flowers. since i was a child i was inspired by the cycle of the seasons and the blossoms of spring. in my mother’s garden i anticipated the first signs of narcissus blooms and would scavenge neighboring fields to gather them in my arms. years later as a college student i started my own garden. veggies and flowers were harvested and taken to the local farmers market. the rhythm and the bustle of the market were magic for me. to see a design develop from a blooms journey from the field to a bouquet on the stand is the heart of Portland Bloem. Bloem is the dutch word for bloom, the ancestry of my mother, where fields grow abundantly and richly as they do here in Portland. my inspiration for each floral creation comes from the heart of each bloom, to create a design that reflects the artistry of the flower and the energy/​passion of your event.
