In the years that I have been teaching, I have been fortunate to have worked with people with all sorts of interests and all different age groups. The right piano teacher for you should be a good listener and design the lessons to your needs. Being comfortable at the studio is important. A supportive learning environment will help you to learn quickly. Many of my students are complete beginners. As you progress, you will quickly get a sense of the process of learning to play piano.

Norm Z.

Business Owner

Norm Zarr has been teaching piano and keyboard to children and adults for over 25 years. He studied music in New York City and started a music education and performance software company with clients in North America, Europe, and Asia.

His work as a sound designer has been featured in numerous recordings. Norm Zarr also has performed professionally and composes music for TV and film. His music has been heard on hundreds of TV shows all over the world. He is a member of ASCAP.

Norm Zarr has been awarded Two Platinum Records. His recent music has appeared on: The Shield, America’s Most Wanted, Dateline NBC, National Geographic, History Channel, Animal Planet.

Actor Steve Zahn, took piano lessons with Mr. Zarr while preparing for his recent movie ‘Management’ also starring Jennifer Aniston.
