Pets in the Sitty is a professional, reliable and loving pet sitting company serving Southwest Portland and surrounding neighborhoods. We offer an affordable alternative to boarding your pets in a kennel. We know it’s far better to care for your pets in the environment where they’re most happy, safe, and comfortable — their home.

Our clients include most every kind of house pet — cats, dogs, puppies, kittens, birds, rabbits, turtles, fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters. We’re available daily, weekly, monthly, or whenever you need some extra help. Your furry family members will receive the love, individualized attention, and exercise they need and deserve while you’re at work, enjoying a night out, in the hospital, or away on vacation. We can customize a schedule that is just right for you and your pet’s needs.

History

Established in 2009.

Pets in the Sitty opened in Portland in 2014 when owner Donna Freeman relocated to Oregon from Anchorage, Alaska. Donna successfully operated another pet sitting company, TLC Pet Sitting, in Alaska from 2009 to 2013 before selling the business to her partner.

Pets in the Sitty has provided personalized in-​home pet sitting for dogs, cats, and all types of pets around Portland since January 2014.

Pets in the Sitty is owned and operated by local resident Donna Freeman. Donna founded her pet sitting business after spending about twenty years taking care of family and friend’s pets. She is a true pet lover who currently shares her home with two sweet and quirky cats, Honey Cat and Chewy. She knows first-​hand how important loving attention, consistent exercise, good nutrition, and taking safety precautions are in the lives of her own pets.

Donna has an unmatched affinity for all animals and volunteers frequently with local rescue groups to help with the feline over-​population problem.
