It looked promising. The shish kebab plate with rice and grilled tomato for eight bucks. Lamb shish kebab! Lamb is awesome. Unless you’re running your lamb through some kind of obstacle course before it ends up on the plate. Mary’s lambs must be the sheep that jump over fences for all the people trying to get to sleep because this lamb was chewy and not particularly flavorful. The grilled tomato is what it says on the tin. It’s half a tomato that’s been grilled. Interesting, I guess. The half a raw white onion was, I honestly don’t know what they expected me to do with that. I ate some of it but my eyes started to burn and I pitched the rest.
