Laura C.

Business Owner

My name is Laura and have been a pet parent most of my life. I have been working as a preschool teacher for seven years, but animals have always been my passion. Parents have been entrusting me with their children for the past seven years because I am patient, consistent, use positive reinforcement, trustworthy and flexible; traits that all carry over into my work with animals.

I have five years volunteer experience, have completed a canine behavior and training internship and I am currently a pre-​veterinary technology student at Portland Community College. I have experience in caring for: dogs, cats, ferrets, fish, chickens, goats, hamsters and guinea pigs. I am always looking for opportunities to expand my pet care expertise. I use positive reinforcement, luring, capturing and clicker training methods and believe all animals deserve to be treated with love and respect.
