One setup up from fast food. The noodles were blackened and dry! Not up to par with other Panda Express. The staff were kind and welcoming and the atmosphere was clean. We love their chow mein and the honey walnut shrimp is amazing… worth the $ 1.50 up charge!

Your regular Panda Express. Staff is rude and not very good customer service. The server Lili is always in a terrible mood.

Everytime I go here they are out of half of everything and that’s during the dinner rush. I ask the teenagers running the place«yo sup where’s the food» and they just have this glazed over look on their face. It’s like totally like cray cray to have food ready to serve inn a buffet restuarant. Plus the franchise owner is cheap as hell tells the kids to put barely any food on my plate. Damn corp Chinese food!

When it comes to Big chain fast food, I don’t give many 4 star reviews. This Panda Express earns it though. Location– it is located next to a Credit Union that doesn’t charge me to use the ATM, so I am already parked anyway. Food– It tastes fresh with several choices that i like and some that seem not so bad for my health– like the Teriyaki chicken bowl with steamed rice. My favorites– I usually get either the Orange Chicken or the Chicken Teriyaki. I eat way to much chicken :) but both have good flavors. I get them on the steamed rice as it is healthier and I like it as well or better then the fried rice. Staff– quick, friendly and they don’t even try and push items, they just get me what I want! Store– always looks very clean, tables are cleared and wiped down promptly. I am glad they are here, close to home for when nothing in the refigerator looks good.

Ordered on line… found out when we got there that they were out of almost everything we ordered. Place was filthy. The person working there could have cared less about the issue.

The ideas of Chinese food and buffet seem incompatable, but this chain seems to have pulled it off, probably because they have cooks constantly going great guns producing small batches and a high customer demand. I like fresh vegetables not overcooked and am on a low carb diet, so the mixed vegetable option enables me to skip rice/noodles, and eat more of the type of food that I prefer. If something has been sitting a while and looks a little tired, I ask for a fresh batch and have always been obliged. Gourmet Chinese it’s not, but this is about fresh, tasty and very fast. Sure beats the burger options!

The food was good as Panda usually is, but the staff here is not friendly or caring at all, with my limited Spanish skills I’m pretty sure they were talking trash about the customers as they came in even.

SPEAKENGRISH… Seems where ever we go and visit a Mexican restaurant AKA Panda Express, we are met with people who fail to SPEAKENGRISH. Not only does the food lack quality, yet the staff SUCKS and it is getting old being invaded by a BUNCHOFMEXICANS who can not SPEAKENGRISH. We visited this location just today and oh boy did it SUCK royally. HEYPANDAEXPRESS, hire AMERICANS and those who actually SPEAKENGRISH. On the other hand, your portions are TOO chinsey and the food was once again COLD! HEYADREWCHERNG, WAKETHE @#4% UP, THISISNOTCHINA. Andrew and his wife Peggy Cherng live in a 3.7 million dollar MANSION is SOCALAND are too cheap to sell quality food. This in my opinion is nothing more then MEXICANFASTFOOD. SPEAKENGRISH!

Service was horrible — waited online only to have others behind me taken first. Dirty floors wholly unappetizing — egg rolls and rice on the floor ignored by the staff. I certainly won’t be returning except to visit whatever restaurant replaces this one.

Interesting visit. The food is what to expect from Panda, but the dining experience was what was interesting. I walk in to loud mariachi music and while ordering the lady behind the counter is ordering the stir chef to do something in Spanish. Not a bad experience, just interesting. Not what I usually expect from Panda. Normally I would give it three stars just for being average Chinese food, but today it didn’t feel like a Panda experience, so two stars.

Sometimes I’ll crave Panda Express and I’m not sure why. Perhaps my stomach is experiencing Stockholm Syndrome. The Panda never claimed to be a life changing 5 star Chinese restaurant. All he wanted to do was quickly fill me up with mediocre food at mediocre prices — which he accomplished. It’s my fault that I’ve judged him so harshly with 2 stars. I’m the one who drove to him. I’m the one who ordered the chow mein with 2 lukewarm chicken sides. I’m the one who added too much soy sauce and dabbled with the spicy mustard(of all things!). He was innocently living quietly in the shadows of Rite Aid and GameStop when I entered his world and imposed my Unilocal-starred rating system. After much introspection, I’ve concluded that it is I who deserve the 2 star review… not the Panda.

This restaurant puts Chinese Food to shame. It tastes horrible, service is horrible, and it made me literally sick to my stomach. I’ll never be back here, at least not by choice. Imagine the line as a kind of «Subway, for fake oriental food» thing; when you start ordering they slop food that was thawed and left under heat lamps until being ordered onto your plate. You can tell the food has roots in authentic oriental cuisine, but it leaves so much to be desired that it actually ruins my opinion of real oriental food.

Now this is going to be a strange review, but here goes. I stopped into Panda with a friend who wanted some veggie rice and such. I told the nice lady at the counter that I needed a vegetarian option, and she was very honest with me. Her reply, «There’s nothing on the menu that is truly vegetarian. It all has chicken broth in it, even the ‘Veggie Rolls’ have been cooked in chicken broth.» There’s nothing on the menu description that explains this, nor is this included in the entrée titles. Veggie Stir Fried Rice, and Veggie Roll should mean made of vegetables, right? Not true in the fast food industry, my friend! Honestly surprised at the employee’s willingness to disclose ingredient information to me, I thanked her profusely, and just ordered some steamed rice and extra packets of chili sauce. Yep, my nose is running right now. This was a very nice way to help a customer who needed information that I’d never been offered at Panda before. I appreciate the straightforward honesty, and will now resume drinking my packets of chili sauce, which are actually assisting in loosening my allergy congestion.

This place is awesome! I can understand that in the first two reviews the people being put off by empty trays, but after moving to the area and frequenting this Panda, my boyfriend and I have learned that they basically ‘cook to order’ in restaurant terms, which means your food is FRESH! They always cook it for you & do it with a smile, even if you walk in & they are mopping the floors, this crew is incredibly nice & the food is always constantly yummy :)

Ignore the other two low reviews, the service here was incredible! We arrived barely five minutes before they closed, and most of the food choices were already gone. Without even being asked, the two people behind the counter immediately offered to cook anything from the menu that we wanted, constantly apologizing for the wait, even when the 10:00 closing time came and went. The food itself was delicious — after a very long day, their orange chicken, spring rolls, and pot-stickers hit the spot wonderfully. Thank you, panda express, I’ll definitely be back soon!

Panda Express is a chain that basically serves it’s purpose. When it comes to fast food some of us get burned out on burgers, pizza, and tacos. It’s nice to have a place to go for some quick Chinese food. Panda Express can indeed fill you up very quickly and inexpensively. However, with that speed comes some sacrifices. First of all, this Barnes Road location is one of the smaller Panda Express restaurants I have seen. However, the interior is clean, comfortable, and bright. On my visit I had a very polite, cheerful, and helpful server. This particular night Panda Express was running low on everything but orange chicken, fried rice, and chow mein noodles. The guy behind me pointed out the food outages to the Panda Express staff. The wok chefs reply to the food shortage problem was«cooking.» Well, I don’t know how you can be cooking when you are standing twenty feet away from the woks but these chefs insisted that they were«cooking.» Have always felt that Chinese cooking is one cuisine that definitely does not lend itself well to buffet service. Storing Chinese food in metal buffet tubs robs Chinese stir fry of one of it’s greatest qualities: that fresh out just out of the wok flavor. It has also been my experience that Chinese food dries out very quickly. That was definitely the problem on my visit to Panda Express. All three of my entrees were incredibly dry. The salt and pepper chicken was well seasoned but the beef and broccoli was tasteless. The chow mein noodles were so dry that they were practically inedible. As I was driving home from Panda Express I saw a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I’m sure that this restaurant could have served me some better tasting take out stir fry in under ten minutes. A call on the cell phone would have eliminated the wait time. Seems the older I get the more I dislike fast food restaurants.

Believe me, there is nothing«Express» about this place. I walked in to a bunch of almost empty trays under heat lamps. I was a little put off to say the least, but I was in my Pjs and unwilling to drive someplace else I decided to order. The man at the register took forever to ring us up, we ordered two of the same exact thing! I ordered the«Panda Bowl» which is actually a panda plate… no bowl about it. The orange chicken was meh, I didn’t get sick so it’ll do. As strange as it sounds I’d go back. but only because it’s close and anywhere I feel ok about dining in my PJs comes in handy.
