Dr Aimee Chang and all her staff members are wonderful! Dr Chang is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Unlike some of other Drs only treat you as patient #s, she really care about each one of her patients. She will seat down with you to review all your options, explain the procedure, timeline, and schedule in details, so you know what to expect. Her staff are also very attentive and caring, they worked with us on our billing questions, and very flexible with our appointment scheduling as well. They also followed up on all the test results and medication questions quickly. Very easy and nice to work with!
I will definitely recommend Dr Chang to my friends and co-​workers with infertility issues.

There are a lot of positive reviews here that I am sure to be true for those people and I am so glad that they were. I am not a person who submits reviews but I am a person who professionally thrives on providing the best possible human connections. I had an expectation of a very kind, warm and friendly place for a fertility clinic. I did not find this to be true within my experience here.
During my $ 360 consultation with Dr. Chang, she sat down and spoke with me for about 30 minutes as I discussed my plan. My hope was to have IUI, after I had fertility testing. My intention was clear from the start that I was not looking to receive any fertility drugs. I had hoped to be able to have IUI, after months of unsuccessful at home insemination using donor sperm. Dr. Chang repeatedly brought up fertility drugs. Yes, I am aware I am at a fertility clinic and this is what you do. There are many women who depend on fertility drugs to get pregnant and I 100% support those decisions and greatly hope that everyone is able to have a child they way they want to. I told her my plan from the start… I do not want fertility drugs, I am here to get tested and «hope» to have an IUI. I told Dr. Chang that if I was unable to conceive via IUI that I would move forward towards adoption.
When I went back to have the fertility testing done, it began with the blood work and then the ultrasound. I had already had the previously recommended fertility «dye test» done at Epic Imaging and also had the STD blood screening performed at my doctors office, having the results sent to Dr. Chang, per her request. When she met me for the ultrasound, Dr. Chang had my chart in her hand as she told me my next step would be to have the dye test and get my STD screening. I had to tell her that I’d already had both done as she requested and that she should have this information. «Oh Yes, I see that…». Sure, we all have moments and maybe she just missed it. I’m also pretty serious about why I’m here and spending money, I’d like you to sound on top of your game.
Here is my biggest issue with her clinic and I am baffled as to other people who have raved about them in their reviews here. Her staff is mostly awful. There are 5 – 6 young women working for Dr. Chang and they came across as having very little personality. They do not exude kindness, compassion or warmth. I surveyed this with them in person and ESPECIALLY over the phone. Again, I answer sensitive nature calls in my profession and I take it seriously. Am I wrong for wanting to provide that and also expecting it from a fertility clinic in return? I’d never write a review on Comcast because that would be pointless. This is a «Fertility Clinic». Dr. Chang will not call you with any test results, she will have one of her staff call and spit out your test results. When I asked a clarifying question about my results, Jessica’s drab response was «What’s up?» Unacceptable. I work for one of Portland’s top rated companies and our core value is fostering happiness upon each connection you make with someone. Maybe I have a much higher expectation of human interaction because of this, but I feel that my vision for a Fertility Clinic is pretty spot on especially considering the sensitive nature and the obscene amount of money you’re willing to spend. My story is also my own but it may serve as a per-​caution to women who may also share a similar expectation of whom they would want to be working with. My hope is that Dr. Chang will encourage a bit more smiles and overall «warmth» with her staff when speaking to her patients over the phone and in person. Positive phrasing goes a long way too, just FYI. «What’s up?» sounds extremely unprofessional and rude.
I did not have good results with my fertility tests and I was prepared for that outcome. My decision to decline fertility treatment never changed and neither did Dr. Chang’s desire to push them on me. She is clearly a business woman making a great living at what she does. I just wish she would have listened more and pushed me less for treatments. I had to ask Jessica if Dr. Chang thought even one attempt at IUI would be worth it. Jessica put me on hold for 3 min and then said Dr. Chang would want to talk to me about the fertility drugs when I came in for the IUI…
I am honestly not writing this to complain because I couldn’t get pregnant, I am writing this because I was very disappointed with how Dr. Chang and her staff interacted. Maybe if I’d opted for the fertility drugs they would have been friendlier… $$$?
I hope that you will have a better experience if you are choosing to work with Oregon Fertility Institute. I wish that everyone who desires to make a family will be successful in the best possible way. My thanks to Dr. Chang for helping me uncover the reasoning as to why I am unable to conceive naturally. My personal plan has now transitioned towards adoption.

Dr. Aimee Chang and her staff are great to work with. She helped my husband and I have our first baby. She’s extremely thorough and we’re so grateful for her help. All of the staff there were wonderful to work with as well. Communication was always easy with quick response time. I recommend all woman struggling with infertility to go see Dr. Chang.

Absolutely love this place! Dr Chang and her wonderful staff are absolutely amazing. So very friendly and down to earth they always make me feel welcome. My husband and I are currently expecting a beautiful rainbow baby all because of these wonderful people :) there’s nothing we can say or do that will be enough to ever thank them. We’re forever grateful we chose such an amazing Dr and staff. (After calling around different places and seeing different Drs Oregon Fertility Institute just felt right) Also I would like to say our fertility treatment worked on our first try we were in shock!!! So with that said Dr Chang knows her stuff :) Thanks again for giving us the chance to be amazing parents to another miracle!

Dr. Chang and her team are simply amazing! Experiencing infertility is difficult enough, but Dr. Chang and her team did everything they could to make the process so much easier. Whenever I had blood work done, they called me just a few hours later with the results. Whenever I had a question about medication or billing, I would hear back from them the same day. They are always so responsive and accommodating, and they always patiently answered my questions without making me feel ignorant or uninformed. Dr. Chang is extremely knowledgeable, and I felt very confident and secure in her treatment and recommendations. I couldn’t recommend Oregon Fertility Institute enough!

My wife and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Chang and her team at Oregon Fertility! We spent the first 10 years of our marriage not being able to have kids. Dr. Chang is extremely knowledgable and thorough and this rubs off on her team as well. My wife and I are currently 29 weeks along and expecting TWINS BOYS in the next few weeks and we owe every bit of the success thus far to Dr. Chang.
If we could send everyone we know to Dr. Chang we would.

After struggling with infertility and not knowing why I wasn’t getting pregnant, I visited Dr. Chang. She was able to finally figure out why I wasn’t getting pregnant. I had seen numerous OB GYN’s in the past and they couldn’t pin point the reason. She made a plan for me and I was able to get pregnant with her help. If it wasn’t for Dr. Chang, there is no way I would have been able to conceive. She really was able to perform a miracle for me. My husband and I feel so blessed to have met her and we now have a beautiful baby boy. She is very caring and kind and makes you feel like you are very important. Her staff is also wonderful and they are so caring as well. There was never a long wait to get in to an appointment and there were never long waits at the office. If anyone is looking for a caring and kind fertility specialist who really cares about her patients, go see Dr. Chang. If it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t of had our baby.
