I had a great visit with Dr. Nyugen. She was professional and courteous, and explained things in great detail. I do not recall the name of the doctor I saw previously, but she was also very nice. The front desk staff are attentive and polite, and the overall experience is extremely pleasant and efficient! Making the appointment online is a very easy process, and the reminder texts are quite helpful. I also love the frames I found at the LensCrafters outside the office. Overall, I give this office and their staff an A+!

Such a great experience with Dr. Nguyen! She spent a lot of time with me during the appointment and was super thorough during the exam. I’ve been visiting optometrists my whole life and can easily say that she’s the most personable and caring optometrist I’ve ever had.

He’s really takes his time to make sure you get the right prescription & is very personable.

I can honestly say that I did not get too far into my experience, so this review is only of the service I received by the optometrist’s office located in the back of the store.
I scheduled an appointment online and showed up 5 minutes before the time I signed up for. A very friendly woman greeted me and checked me in. She also handed me some paperwork to fill out while I was waiting, which I completed pretty quickly. No one called me up and before I knew it, 20 minutes had passed.
«Christopher, are you done with your paperwork?» I heard a new voice coming from behind the counter. A younger woman, visibly irritated, told me that she needed to get me started because we didn’t have much time. The receptionist then said, «oops, I forgot to tell you to bring it back up.»
I followed the agitated assistant back to the exam room where she furiously tried to get things ready. She then decided to let me know once more, that we only had 15 minutes left in my appointment since I had just been sitting there. At this point I had to say something. I asked her if the appointment was going to be rushed and she got very defensive. I told her that I had just been sitting there waiting, and that I had been on time. She responded by telling me that she didn’t see me. I told her that her colleague had checked me in, and she again responded very defensively and told me that she didn’t check me in. She refused to take any responsibility for the situation and shifted all the blame on me, the customer. At that point I told her that I felt very uncomfortable and I welcomed at that I wanted to cancel my appointment.
It’s a shame that because of a lack of basic customer service skills, they lost out on a new patient.

I got a same day appointment, was checked in quickly (since I filled out the paperwork online) and finished the entire process in a bit over a half hour. Dr Ogata was friendly and efficient and I don’t feel the price charged for the exam was unreasonable. All in all they deserve a five star rating in my book

Dr. Ogata is pretty awesome and I like that going there is convenient (it is located in the Lens Crafters at Lloyd Center mall). I’ve always gotten in on time and my appointments are quick – like 15 – 20 minutes!
I’m also a big fan of being able to go online and schedule an appointment. All appointment times let you know which of the optometrists you will be seeing (I always see Dr. Ogata himself). and you can choose a different location as well (there are 2 or 3 different offices).
Everyone there is nice and they take a really big variety of insurance plans, so chances are you will be covered.
I really just like when things are convenient, it goes a long way with me.

I saw Dr Russell from a referral from my friends when I was having a major eye emergency. They were able to fit me in same day for an emergency appointment. When Dr Russell saw me, he immediately referred me to a retina specialist that also squeezed me in the same day.
Dr Russell was so very nice, professional, and also hilarious. Definately a great thing considering my emergency.
I have visited him twice, second time for my annual eye exam, and I will definately recommend him to anyone that needs an opthamologist.

I liked Dr. Ogata. He was very no-​nonsense about the poor state of my eyes, but he had a good sense of humour, and he was very reassuring.
He handed me my prescription and said that I could go to the Lenscrafters his office is attached to, or go to the glasses store across the store, or whatever. This was refreshing, compared to other optometrists who push you to go to the glasses store that’s right there.
The desk staff was also very pleasant.
I approve whole-​heartedly, and would recommend this place to others.
