My wife and I are long time patients of Dr. R. She’s caring and a good listener. Treats the whole person. While her practice days are usually full, she never rushes. You feel like the only appointment of the day. Responds to weekend on call situations without complaint. The staff are courteous and professional.

Referral or not, this place will not be somewhere I would ever willingly go again. Meet and Greet was an out of pocket of $ 192. I was forgotten in the waiting room for 35 minutes. I was on time and had all the paperwork completed prior to arrival. The nurse and front office staff were nice and the doctor was nice too. Due a few concerns we ordered blood work(out of pocket) Based on those results, we would do an ultra sound. Monday, the receptionist called with an appointment time for the ultrasound. So I asked what happened with the blood tests, she said they looked normal. She would have the doctor call me since I had questions. Wednesday morning I completed the ultra sound(MORE out of Pocket!). That afternoon I get a call from the nurse. She states, per a note from the doctor that I need to call the Surgeon. I am just a note to another person to be passed on. I asked again about the blood tests and the nurse said came out great. I came to find out they were not calling the number I told them to contact me at. I’ve been to my previous doctor 3 times in the last 8 years. This is what has happened to the doctor/patient relationship? It might have not been fully the doctor’s fault but getting a resolution took too much follow up. The office is a representation of the doctor and my experience was an epic fail. In my attempt to avoid the Health care costs debate I’ll simply state this was a prime example of that breakdown. With a higher than average understanding of insurance and provider processes, I was very disappointed. Final bill arrived at $ 280 without any logical reasoning. I should have gone to zoom care.
