Established in 2006.

Founded in 1991 under the name The Ad Department, the business’s reputation was established as an award-​winning regional shop with a special focus on beautifully crafted print advertising. Re-​branded in 2006 under a new management team, NORTH is now an internationally recognized creative powerhouse, serving major brands such as Columbia Sportswear, CLIF Bar, and Anchor Brewing among others.

Business Owner

Mark Ray, Chief Creative Officer, was formerly a managing partner, executive creative director and branded entertainment director at Arnold Worldwide (Boston & St. Louis.) There he managed award-​winning global creative development for Jack Daniels and Southern Comfort, as well as national initiatives for Volkswagen Dealers, Bass Pro Shops, and Anheuser-​Busch brands Michelob & Eagle Snacks.
