We are a dual specialty dental office. We have both a Pediatric Dentist and an Orthodontist to help you with your dental needs while monitoring growth and development. Our Orthodontist sees patients of all ages including mom and dad!

Dr. Casey N.

Business Owner

Dr. Casey Nelson was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for his undergraduate studies. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from UNLV School of Dental Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was elected by his professors to be inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society. Dr. Nelson also received an award for Excellence in Research, after having presented research studies at the International Association of Dental Research meetings in New Orleans, Louisiana and Brisbane, Australia. Following dental school graduation, Dr. Nelson practiced general dentistry before returning to UNLV School of Dental Medicine to pursue his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. During his residency, he served as Chief Resident, and received another award for Excellence in Research.

What a great experience with Dr. Casey and his staff! My 2 year old twins came here today for the first time. We are new to the area and I did my research on where to go, between friends, insurance, and ratings I knew this place would be good. I didn’t think it was going to be as amazing experience as it was. Our old dentist in San Francisco was hard to leave and to be honest we kept an appointment with her as I was not opposed to traveling back to San Francisco just for the kids to see the dentist, that is how good our old dentist was. Walking into Dr. Casey’s office changed my mind, we will no longer travel to SF to see the dentist. His staff was kind, greeted us with smiles and knew my kids names as soon as they walked through his door. They were also quite efficient, as I struggled to fill out paperwork for one they helped me with the second. Stephanie and Penny who cleaned the twins teeth were fun and went with the flow of 2 year olds and twins. It was a great experience! Dr Casey took the time to talk to me about importance of how to get the kids to brush their teeth and showed me ways to get them to do it. He is super cool and the kids even gave him high fives for a job well done. The space is clean, gorgeous, great build outs in each room, where you don’t feel like you are stepping on one another. Its fun and very kid centric/​friendly. All in all we cannot wait to go back. Thank you Dr Casey for you and your staff for making today a success and my kids haven’t stopped talking about the cool fish on the walls yet.

My children have been seeing Dr Nelson for about 2 years. I was new to the area, found the office through research, and chose him based on healthgrade, location, and insurance. Last week my 6 year old somehow broke/​chipped a molar. I immediately knew it was going to have to be fixed, bringing me great anxiety because I had bad memories of my dentist as a child. My heart really hurt for her. To this point I liked the staff but didn’t find Dr Nelson very approachable. I kept the kids there because the hygienists were so great with the kids and quite honestly, my feelings may have been due to my own traumas. Anyway, I now am overly impressed with Dr Nelson (and his staff). He prepared me for my daughters «polishing,» aka crown, and told me how to prepare her. He was knowledgeable, professional, and obviously skilled. My daughter even said she’d do it again! Ugh! I can’t speak high enough about them.

Dr. Casey Nelson is fantastic! Nelson Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is the first dentist office my son went to at the age of 2. Just after he turned 3, he had to have a procedure done on his molars. Dr. Nelson was reassuring during the diagnosis and was fabulous with my son before, during, and after the procedure. I couldn’t recommend this practice enough! The dental assistants are great with kids and the office staff is great too. We will continue to use this office through our kids’ dentistry and orthodontia needs.

Dr. Miller is amazing! She is thorough, kind and very informative about treatment. Being an adult in treatment I hoped for the quickest, less invasive straightening methods. She explained EVERYTHING in detail, and has been spot on in every adjustment during my treatment period. Highly recommend Dr. miller for ortho treatment!
