Neesie Doss

Neesie is so sweet! She takes the time to know you– even gave me a wedding card! Her massages put me into such a good place. I love her extra touches too, like the warm towels and eye mask, they make a difference! She’s skilled at working at specific problem areas, my hip pain is much better after even 1 visit!

— She gives a fantastic massage — she finds a wonderful balance among therapeutic touch and nurturing touch
— She’s extremely personable and is a great listener
— She makes great use of time — doing enough intake to really get what’s going on with me and then doing a great job addressing what needs to be addressed during the massage
— She’s not out to prove anything. She’s there for me, the client.
— It’s clear that she really enjoys what she is doing. I can’t say this for every massage therapist I’ve received work from, and it makes a huge difference.

I went to see Neesie for help with horrible neck pain. Not only did Neesie do a fantastic job of relieving me of the pain I was experiencing, but she gave me great advice as to how I might be able to prevent future neck pain. Neesie is very professional and so skilled at what she does – Highly recommended!!!

I have had a few massages, from different people. But Nessie is one of the best. First off, I was very disheveled from a crazy morning, and ended up getting lost trying to find the office. My appointment was at 1, and at 12:59 I called her almost in tears because I was sure she would send me away for being late. On the phone she guided me to her office, and I got there no problem. I fully expected to deduct my late minutes from our session, but she was SO sweet and assured me it was fine. Her office is so welcoming and relaxing I was calm in no time. She is a true expert in her craft. and we had an awesome conversation during the first half (we know a few mutual people) and the second half I just quietly enjoyed the massage. It was the perfect border of almost being asleep, but still awake enough to be aware of how well she was doing. Nessie is warm, respectful and has a huge heart. I didn’t feel insecure at all (that tends to happen being undressed with strangers) and that allowed me to fully relax. I would recommend her to any and everyone that wants to get work done.

Previous reviewers have already done a great job of describing what makes Neesie a special massage therapist, so I’ll just reiterate that she’s a genuinely caring person who creates a great healing environment and is a very skilled and intuitive therapist. She obviously loves what she does, and is a gifted healer.

I had my first visit with Neesie and WOW, what a fantastic experience! She is very skilled in her technique and provides a quiet, peaceful experience for her clients. She has a wonderful demeanor and is very nurturing throughout the entire session.

I have had several amazing massages from Neesie! She is by far the best massage therapist I have ever had and prior to her, I have been to many. Now, I will not go anywhere else! I recommended her to my mother who is EXTREMELY picky when it comes to massages and she was ecstatic about Neesie’s talent. At 50 years old, I had never had a massage. But after partially tearing my rotator cuff and putting up with enough pain to make me want to gnaw off my left arm, I was referred to Neesie by a friend.
The woman works wonders. She stopped a week and a half of muscle spasms, that a physical therapist and muscle relaxants hadn’t. She’s kind, caring, and very good at what she does.
You can go in confidence knowing that Neesie provides the best service you could ever ask for.

When I first heard of hot stone massage, I almost felt that it was too hippie-​dippy for me, but I’m so glad I changed my mind. The heated rocks literally pull the stress out of my muscles and Neesie accommodates whatever your specific needs are. When I asked her to focus on my neck and shoulders, I walked out practically drooling, I was so relaxed. I highly recommend the hot rock massage and Neesie will keep you warmly tucked in as she works your pains away. Best Massage Therapist EVER… and I really mean that. She knows how to ask what you need and absolutely knows what she’s doing.
P. S. DO NOT FORGET HOT STONE MASSAGE!!! This is the greatest thing you might possibly ever experience.

Neesie loves doing massage and it definitely comes through in the quality of her work. She truly cares about her clients and is very thorough. The hot stone massage she gave me was the best massage i have ever had. Her studio off of Mississippi is super clean, charming and soothing. Will be a regular from now on.

Ok, I firmly believe that Neesie was born to do massage. I have an extremely difficult time relaxing and turning off my brain. I also have a problem with prioritizing self-​care. Neesie has changed all of that — she has a lovely personality and is very nurturing. I’m in the service industry, so I have upper-​body tightness, pain and strain. Neesie helps me so much with therapeutic, upper body massage with reflexology and trigger point release. On alternating appointments, we focus on relaxation and stress relief. Her hot stone massage is also very crucial to melt away my muscle tightness. I cannot tell you how important Neesie will be to your overall health and well-​being!
