The Murvihill Music Studio offers the best value in music lessons on the west side of Portland. We take pride in our student retention. Lessons take place in a warm, encouraging environment. Students are given clear instruction and expectations to help them succeed.
We recognize that time is extremely valuable to the busy parent, so our scheduling is reliable yet flexible. Lessons are tailored to a student’s learning style and interest. Our vast experience in musical genres, instruments and educational methods allows us to really connect with a students needs.
We teach piano, guitar, brass, woodwinds, jazz, theory and composition. Many of our piano students participate in the OMTA Syllabus program. Parents are welcome to observe class or drop off their student as they choose. Piano lessons are taught on two grand pianos. Recitals are free of charge and run less than one hour.
