History

Established in 2007.

Already, a sought after designer when he attended Portland state, Andrew Bolton (owner) established Murmur Creative shortly after graduation. Andrew quickly turned Murmur Creative into a successful business with a client list of some of the most well-​loved Portland small businesses (Laughing Planet, Grand Central Bakery, Ruby Jewel – to name a few). While Murmur’s reputation for both high-​quality design, branding, and web development has spread beyond the Pacific Northwest, Murmur’s commitment to sustainable values, the community, and local business is always at the core of our work.

Andrew loves surrounding himself with enthusiastic and creative designers and overseeing and art directing projects so that they always achieve his rigorous design standards.

Andrew’s design experience spans many design styles and mediums, from website design and mobile apps to the hands-​on crafts of silk-​screening, printmaking, package design, and more.

Andrew also believes in supporting sustainable business practices and ‘green design.’ In his free time, Andrew is a loving father, avid fisherman, bicycle enthusiast, and a founding member of the folk rock ensemble, ‘Nervous and the Kid’.
