The Unemployment Dept. rolled out some new rules about those receiving unemployment money, including the need to register with IMatch Skills and Worksource.
Even though I didn’t feel like I needed to go through this process (they evaluate your reading comprehension and mathematical skills, then teach you how to build a resume and interview), everyone their treated me with courtesy and respect. I can see for those who aren’t used to job hunting or new to the workforce that this can be a great resource.
If you’re on unemployment and have to register here, save yourself a lot of time by completing your IMatch skills page first… otherwise, you’ll be here a good 3 – 4 hours.
