Specialties

Mocha Momma’s Good Coffee is more than a coffee shop. It’s a great place to eat as well, serving up some of the best breakfast bagels in town with Kettleman’s bagels. Try Momma’s Good Chicken salad made fresh right here or our equally famous Panini Caprese.

Saturday and Sunday we offer up a special brunch menu with meat or veggie scrambles or eggnog french toast; delicious with a mimosa.

We might be the only coffee shop on the East side that serves Zbeanz coffee; one of Portland’s top micro-roasters. Our own special espresso blend uses some of the world’s best beans, never-over roasted and always delicious.

Enjoy the nostalgic ambiance of the shop or sit on the patio and watch the world go by with a great cup of coffee and fresh pastry.

Remember…Momma loves you!

History

Established in 2006.

Mocha Momma started out as a mobile coffee service providing great coffee and fresh fruit smoothies at farmers markets; art events; music venues and for private catering.

She opened her own coffee shop in the Westmoreland/Sellwood neighbor hood and has become a local favorite for coffee, bagels, pastry, breakfast and lunch.

Meet the Business Owner

Cynthia M.

Business Owner

Born with an entrepreneur’s spirit, I started my first business at 6 years old by going around the neighborhood with my Red-Flier wagon, selling the flowers that grew in my parents yard.

I made extra money by picking strawberries in the summer and holding down a paper route as well. I was commissioned to embroider clothing for friends and sold my own arts and crafts. I was a partner in an organic farm in the 1980’s and sold organically grown flowers to local restaurants and for U-pick.

All the while I had a small construction company and worked on many jobs both large and small in the city of Portland, developing a taste for fresh roasted coffee along the way.

I retired early with too much time on my hands so with the indispensable help from my husband, Mark E. we put together a mobile coffee truck and grew the business into a real coffee shop, a fête that we are very proud of and hope others enjoy it as much as we do.
