Miranda Morehouse, LMT

It’s been over 2 years since my first review and I no longer live in Portland, but wanted to update because Miranda’s expertise STILL has an impact on my back wellness! I still use the stretches that she taught me and as long as I am consistent with them, I no longer have the pain that I struggled with for years. As soon as my back starts hurting, I know just what to do. THANK YOU, Miranda!

I went to see Miranda because she had positive reviews and her prices are very reasonable. I’d like to add to her collection of great reviews! Miranda really helped me figure out a major contributing factor to the low back problems that I’ve been struggling with for years. In addition to using some massage techniques that were brand new for me (and I have had many massages over the years!) she taught me some stretches that I have since incorporated into my daily routine. It has been 6 weeks since my first appointment with her (I only had 2), and I have had MUCH less pain since. Thank you Miranda!
I’ll also add that the facility in which she practices, the Kenton Family Wellness Center, is very nice. It’s a clean, airy space with a calming ambiance and very nice massage rooms. It is a 2 minute walk from the Kenton/​N. Denver MAX Yellow Line station, so super convenient for those of us using public transportation. The area also looks like it would be pretty easy for parking.

Miranda is magic! I have to admit I’ve not had many treatments by massage therapists, so I can’t speak to her technique or the finer points of her treatment. BUT! I can say that she’s very strong and very good at working out all my knots and stress holding spots. I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated!

I’ve been to massage therapists all over Portland and have been more impressed with this service than I’ve ever been elsewhere.
I’ve been seeing Miranda for over a month now. I have chronic headaches and pains in my back and legs. Getting massages consistently has helped with daily pain, sleeping, digestion and all over well being. I’ve been impressed with what the routine practice has done for my health.
Miranda is great! She’s attentive and listens to the words you say and what your body is expressing. It’s not lip service when she asks how you’re feeling. I’ve never had the same massage twice which is unreal! Every time the experience is different and catered to what my body needs. Definitely go see her if you can!

Miranda is very friendly and lovely, but the massage didn’t help my pain situation much. This may not be a negative on the therapist’s part per se, but rather on the myofascial massage technique, which i don’t think does anything for chronic pain (or maybe just for me). It’s light touching here and there that doesn’t seem to get to the root of the issue. From what i know, Miranda does do other types of massage as well, but i can’t speak to those as I’ve only tried her myofascial.
But pain reduction effectiveness aside, the experience was enjoyable and soothing. The heated beds are a definite plus!

I very much recommend a massage from Miranda. I’ve probably had about 5 – 7 massages in my life, and Miranda’s was by far the best! I rarely find someone who can figure out exactly what is needed so quickly, and with such a friendly disposition. I’m very impressed and will be coming back.
She came to my home, which was nice and convenient. I thought she was very experienced and professional. Her radiating energy made me feel instantly relaxed and comfortable. Miranda has an awesome touch. She knew right where my troubled spots were and tackled them.
Not only did I leave the appointment feeling relaxed, but my muscles felt better. I give Miranda 5 STARS!

She is so wonderful. She knows what she is doing and is great at what she does. Her technique is amazing and can make you feel like a million bucks. She is sweet and kind and extremely friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. She’s AWESOME!

I am a commercial fisherman (woman) and the abuse the job does to my body is pretty severe. After a month long offshore trip last summer my whole right side of my body was in pretty bad shape from pulling fish.
I was in constant pain, popping ibuprofen like crazy and living with ice packs strapped to my body. Miranda gave me an amazing 2 hour massage focusing on my injuries and pain. She was able to pin point where the problems were coming from and ease a considerable amount of pain. The massage was both deep tissue and wonderfully relaxing. Her touch is magic and her presence while massaging is calm, sweet, knowledgeable and reassuring. Miranda has massaged me an few times since with the same result. I can’t recommend her enough.
