MindBody Personal Training offers customized personal training programs for individuals of all fitness levels and abilities. Simply stated, I combine a variety of physical as well as mental practices to change not only your body but your mind as well. After years of experience in the fitness industry I have realized that overall self development is necessary to experience the GREATEST benefit from personal training. The mental practices include. meditation, weekly book summaries of over 250 self development books in PDF and MP3 format, identifying past sticking points/plateaus, pain/pleasure association and more. The physical fitness sessions focus on various practices including free weight resistance training, kettle bell training, MMA conditioning, TRX suspension training and high intensity interval training. History
Established in 2014.
After many years working in big box gym’s I noticed the need for more comprehensive fitness programs not limited to physical exercise. I started MindBody Personal Training with the definite purpose of giving clients an OVERALL positive growth BEYOND just fitness. I found the benefits of combined practices to FAR EXCEED typical fitness only training. Therefore I began finding and implementing the most effective practices in personal growth, some examples of these practices are meditation, daily reading of personal growth literature, ego identification writing exercises, social dynamics education and short term/long term goal setting. After massive positive feedback I decided to bring this experience to the Portland Maine area.

Growing up more or less angry and often depressed I took a fascination in the «art of happiness» I always wondered why some people lived their lives happily, effectively and productively while others (like myself) often struggled to get through the day. Early on in my high school years I discovered that daily exercise was a crucial cornerstone of effective living, unlike many of my friends I ventured far beyond the gym. My adventures took me to the Amazon Jungle of Brazil, Rabbis in Israel, Shamans in Peru, and eventually where I now call home in Portland Maine. I found some really interesting perspectives along the way and became an AVID reader once I started traveling. Reading and constantly growing have allowed me to accumulate a wealth of knowledge. I have found personal training to be an amazing vessel for me to help others and share what I have learned while offering a deep knowledge of fitness and personal growth.
