McCormick Pier Grocery and Deli

This neighbourhood convenience store holds on through thick and thin. One owner is very nice, the other is not as personable but will get you in and out with what you need.

I really like this place as my go-​to «oh shoot I forgot to buy (item) at the grocery store this week and need it for dinner ASAP» place. The couple that run it are very friendly. My dad came up to visit for a weekend a couple months ago and he went into buy some tylenol before he left to go home. Whenever I went in there to get something since then, they would bring him up and ask how he was doing. When he came back up about four months later they still remembered him. That’s pretty impressive customer service!
I’m taking one star away because some of their things are pretty overpriced, but like I said, they are the place I go when I need something last minute, and they are sure to have it every time.

This market is incredibly overpriced. Not to mention the owner seems to think it is his moral obligation to monitor the parking lot because for some reason people cant park in the lot. I was walking in to his store to buy groceries an he said to me «remove your car from the lot» it wasnt like the lot was full there were plenty of open spaces. He has had my car towed and several of my friends and we are regular customers. Dont waste your time with this place they are very unfriendly and overpriced.
