Great place for happy hour!
The happy hour food menu ranged from $ 5-​$ 9 or $ 10 which we thought, for the huge portions, was very reasonable.
I ordered the hawaiian pizza and it came with 8 big, delicious slices. My boyfriend had the burger with fries and he loved it. We’ll definitely be coming back to try the fish tacos and the crème brûlée cheesecake!
The service was just as great as the food. Our waitress, Sunny, was super friendly and very attentive.
We will definitely be coming back again!

The service was great, but the food was pretty bad. I had the ribs and onion rings. Definitely the worst ribs I’ve ever tasted and the rings were clearly just frozen from a box. I was pretty sad that I spent $ 50 here.

Surprisingly good. House salad sounded good and ingredients should have been crisper. Lettuce was limp and overdressed. So, I wasn’t expecting much from the pasta. I was very pleasantly surprised. The Bolognese sauce was excellent — lots of meat, a spicy but not overwhelming tomato sauce and the rigatoni properly cooked. Will definitely return when flying out of PDX.

I highly recommend the swordfish. It was probably the best I’ve ever had.
With that cleared out of the way, I do wish to explain the lack of a star.
I removed one star for the slow service we had. I’m not talking about ticket times. I understand that Swordfish takes longer to cook, so that’s all good. The real issue was that we waited more than 5 minutes to receive menus or even see a waitress, and it was completely dead at that time.
We were also rather disappointed with the «Lake View» that is used to help promote the restaurant.
… it’s a stagnant pond of algae.

A competent diner with better pizza, salads, desserts than your average diner, but nothing spectacular. The service is very good and during the day there is a view of a small like behind the hotel.

This restaurant puts out some of the most amazing tasting meals I have ever had !
It’s even better than some of the famous high end restaurants around.

My girlfriend and I stay here a lot and often end up at the lakeside café. The prices are very reasonable and the food is incredible, come during happy hour from 4 – 6 for super cheap fish tacos and many other entrees that will rival even the nicest restaurants in the area.

Had a late Valentines dinner last night with our two little guys after a long day of basketball tournaments and once again we had awesome service (our server was Stacey). My crab dip and calamari was delicious! Pizza was pretty yummy too
I love this place and so does our two little guys!

The price here is WAY too high for the quality of there food.
The service is good especially the busboy.
But, I go out of my way to avoid eating here.

Great fish tacos. We had a day full of lemons and this place turned our lemon day into lemonade. Thank you Radisson for ending our day nicely. Your dinner house, Lakeside Bar & grill. Food was good, I had the chipotle chicken wrap. The reason this gets only 3 stars is the food service was poor. Took a long time to get my food and they brought me the wrong food the first time. They were having an event at the hotel so they said that slowed things up.

I love the country skillet. This place has a real mellow easy going atmosphere. For hotel food it’s pretty decent in quality. The fish tacos are also amazing!

I ate here last night with my brother and I ordered off the Happy Hour menu the Chop Burger with a salad. My brother ordered the grilled salmon. My burger was juicy and tasty and I love the roll/​bun that it comes on. The salad is healthy greens with apple chunks and a baslamic vinegar dressing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly. This is my 3^rd visit here and I am definitely coming back.

Have eaten here before and the food and drinks are dependable. Never a problem with service.

I was pleased for this being a moderate hotel restaurant.
The beet salad with balsamic glaze was excellent.
The burger was cooked to my liking and very good. The service was very good. Enjoy.

The Lakeside Bar & Grill is the onsite restaurant located at the Radisson Hotel /​Portland Airport.
According to the hotel’s website, the eatery is «a favorite spot to spend time, enjoy a meal and take in picturesque views of Lake Colwood. Guests can also indulge in the flavors of the Northwest with a sampling of $ 5 items found on Lakeside Bar & Grill’s new Happy Hour dining menu.»
There are happy hour specials and although the menu was not too exciting, it was not as bland a culinary offering as most chain hotel dining options. I enjoyed their breakfasts in particular. The omelets were great and I loved the artisan wheat bread they serve as toast. So good!
Some people staying at the hotel get vouchers as part of their reservations, where they can enjoy a continental breakfast or you can purchase that option for $ 9.95. What I enjoyed, even on misty days, was eating outside on the patio. I think people thought I was crazy but I would rather eat a meal surrounded by fresh air and a gorgeous lake view rather than in a musty, dingy hotel restaurant.
Lake Colwood thrilled me, even though it really was little more than an over-​sized pond. Still, there were ducks, herons, squirrels and I even saw some Canadian Geese the last day. Wild blackberries grew everywhere and for this California girl, it was so Oregon awesome.
The reason for deducting 2 Unilocal STARS was that the service was perfunctory and though the waiters and waitresses were nice, little details were over-​looked. By this I mean, while outside, I would have to get up and go back in to fetch sugar for my coffee or in one instance, look for someone to take my order.
My advice would be to offer more customer service training to the restaurant staff so that they are totally focused on maintaining an excellent customer service experience.
