Kern Park

This park is about as utilitarian as it gets. It’s about the size of a city block. It’s flat, has a small playground, a baseball/​multi — use field, and that’s about it.
It’s no secret that this part of Portland is fairly underserved municipally. This park easily reflects that. However, it’s often busy with locals walking their dogs (on the leash), kids out playing on the playground, and various others taking advantage of this small patch of grass. I guess that’s all you can ask for around here.
It’s no Laurelhurst Park, but it’ll do
