I offers professional service and am a licensed social worker/​therapist. I specialize in sexual concerns and relationship problems. I use highly effective research-​based methods, and work in collaboration with my clients.

I’m a mature, experienced clinician, knowledgeable about a wide variety of approaches. Each session is different and tailored to your particular concerns. I work especially well with people who want tools and strategies to help them achieve the changes they desire. You may be looking for better communication with a partner; help with infidelity or sexual concerns; perhaps you’re trying to make a difficult decision about a relationship.

My approach is strengths-​based and I actively engage in conversation with you, providing plenty of compassionate, honest feedback.

History

Established in 1999.

I have over 30,000 hours of experience providing counseling to individuals and couples. I spent 15 years of experience in agency work before I started my private practice. My primary interest is work with relationship concerns and much of my training has been at the Gottman Institute in Seattle, learning about the strengths and positive habits practiced by couples who are satisfied in their relationships.

What I like most about my work is the opportunity to help people with problems that seem unsolvable to them.

Complicated situations interest me because we can usually find some way to view your struggle from an unexpected angle, or generate fresh ideas, so that things end up looking a bit different.

I enjoy humor and may bring some lightness to our conversation. Much of what I do is help us have meaningful conversation about aspects of life that are typically unspoken or kept private.
