Joshua has developed and refined artistic techniques that enhance details and generate striking visual effects. Experienced with a broad range of artistic mediums including oil paint, pencil and charcoal, Joshua gains inspiration from his clients and views each new project as an opportunity to display a feeling, convey a sentiment, capture an emotion or preserve a memory.

History

Established in 2014.

Originally from Oregon, Joshua progressed from an apprentice to a professional tattoo artist while working for Classic Tattoo and Above All Tattoo in San Diego, California. Joshua Hibbard is returning to Oregon with his fiancé, Vandy, and two children, Joshua and Camille, to work with James Kern at No Hope No Fear Tattoo Art Studio. This opportunity will allow him to step away from the distractions of business management and return focus to tattooing. An admirer of James Kern’s work from the inception of his career, Joshua has aspired to collaborate with the artist he considers a mentor for many years. Resolute in his convictions, Joshua prophetically told James he would work for him one day-​a dream that he made happen.

Energized to begin the next stage in his career, Joshua Hibbard is opening his new shop Inspired Tattoo in Portland in August 2014.
