I teach flute, saxophone, clarinet, and ukulele lessons. I have over two decades of experience as a professional musician and teacher. I am skilled in many styles including jazz, classical, rock, blues and folk. Lessons are fun and educational. I emphasize enjoying music while using solid musical principles. All ages are welcome. I will teach you to make beautiful music!

History

Established in 2014.

In a sense, this business got started when I started playing flute at age six. Later, when I became a professional musician I taught frequently and always enjoyed it. After a long detour in the computer industry, I have returned to playing and teaching music full-​time. I bring the accumulated experience of a lifetime in music to every lesson.

I am a professional musician and teacher with over two decades of experience. I started playing flute when I was six, saxophone when I was in college, and clarinet about ten years later. I got a ukulele as a wedding present and learned to play that too. I play in many popular local bands in a variety of styles, often in the jazz vein. As a teacher, I believe in making music fun, and working hard until you get it right.
