I found Intimo on a Living Social deal, and found that Miranda was AMAZING to work with! I chose her as my wedding florist and could not have asked for better flower arrangements! It was very easy to meet and work with Miranda, and she really listened to my ideas and sad attempts at naming flowers. She gave us such beautiful flower crowns and adorable arrangements for my tables that everyone loved. The quality of arrangements was spot on and she gave me more than I could’ve asked for (since I basically showed pictures and had no idea what type of flowers I was talking about — I just let her do her thing!) and it tuned out so perfect. I would definitely recommend Intimo to anyone bride I know looking for a florist.

So this is some advice for all you out there planning a wedding and flowers! Normally you just hear the good… but what about the bad! Intimo Flowers with Miranda started out awsome! Very sweet, informative, great ideas! Always answered any questions we may have had! However… when all said and done! She has my money and I get nothing we talked about! Miranda shows up to wedding an hour in a half before it was suppose to start. Totally frazzled and running! She brought pink rose bouquets with brown around the edges, wilted! Looked like they were left over from another wedding! The arch we «talked» about was so embarrassing, I wanted to die! Flimsy and naked! Showed up with short little wine barrells when we ordered the «big» ones! Absolutely terrible! And all she could say was, «Sorry, I haven’t had any sleep in 24hrs. and I’m just exhausted!» WHY is that my problem and why is it okay to ruin a brides wedding? And then… I paid her a set up/​break down fee! Never saw her until my sister and I had everything pretty much packed up! What a joke! She my have been good for some people, but an absolute embarrassment for my family and all of our out of town guests! I would never recommend her to anyone! And even after the facts when I tried to contact her, just wanted to express my feelings. She completely ignored my texts/​phone calls! So here we are. .on our way to court! You can also look at BBB and see the complaint there too! Good luck everyone!

Miranda was wonderful to work with and her arrangements came out absolutely perfect! I found Intimo on Unilocal (thank you!) and as soon as I contacted M she set up a phone consultation. I asked her to design 25 wedding centerpiece bouquets on a tight budget and also ordered a hairpiece and boutennierre. She took down all the details — what other table decorations we had planned, the look of my dress, the color of the groom’s suit, etc.
She was super patient with me, as I didn’t really have a vision of what I wanted. I ended up changing my mind several times over the course of several months. But she replied to all my emails and send me some example photos of what I could expect. In the end she designed the centerpieces for $ 10 apiece which included rental of the vase.
I was really impressed with Miranda’s design skills as well as her wonderful service, and I absolutely recommend Intimo if you’re in need of a wedding florist!

We used Intimo for our wedding at Ecotrust and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Miranda really listened to us and accommodated our quirky requests and the sometimes divergent desires of different decision makers in our wedding party. I honestly didn’t even want flowers at the wedding, thinking it would be a waste of money. I told Miranda I didn’t want things to look «festooned» with flowers and she got it and executed!
I couldn’t believe how low the bill was. Miranda was very creative about seeking out budget-​friendly alternatives like non-​floral components (fruit, succulents, etc). Most importantly, the quality was absolutely top-​notch… the arrangements were innovative and dramatic.
Highly highly recommended!

My experience with Intimo was absolutely wonderful. Miranda listened and made my vision a reality. She was realistic with me and communicated clearly, offering several different (and beautiful) options when it was clear that peony season was going to end early this year. When she arrived with the flowers on the day of my wedding, I was blown away by how beautiful they were. She had captured the spirit of what I had wanted precisely. Miranda pinned the boutonnières and corsages on the wedding party and our parents and gave my bridesmaids and I helpful tips on how to hold the bouquets and to keep them looking beautiful throughout the festivities.
Miranda respected my budget and even though I had a small order, she put all her energy and passion into it, as if it were her most important job.
Miranda has a very artistic eye and her prices are very reasonable for the quality of product and service she offers. Miranda is delightful to work with and I would recommend Intimo in a heartbeat!

Ok. This review is going to be very long, because I could go on and on about Intimo and Miranda and how special she helped make my wedding day. I was recommended to Miranda from a friend who worked with her and thank goodness she did! I met her at the bakery she decorates, so that was very helpful is seeing some of her work on display. From the moment I met her I know she was a kindred spirit. Here enthusiasm and interest in my ideas and wedding was amazing and every thine I talked to her she made me more excited about our day! While wedding planning, things can get stressful, but just meeting with her would relieve my stress and re-​excite me!
I had a winter wedding, which was one of her first winter weddings. Let me tell you, you would never have known. I can’t put into words how well Miranda turned my vision into reality. Everything I envisioned, she made happen! I didn’t really know what to expect, because I’ve never been to a winter wedding focusing on snow and pinecones and such, but my bouquets, altar and aisle were exactly what I envisioned.
Miranda is a florist/​stylist. This meant she did my bouquets, boutonnieres, aisle décor, altar décor, then moved everything from the ceremony to where sit was meant to go for the reception. She repurposed the aisle décor to be the center pieces and so on… which ends up saving YOU money! She also takes it all down at the end for a small cost which I highly recommend!
Miranda followed through with everything she promised me. She was punctual at every meeting and met me at my hotel to deliver my bouquet right on time. She even helped pin each boutonnière onto the groomsmen.
The day after our wedding I kept looking back at the venue and the whole experience and I could not stop gushing to my husband about how perfect the altar was… That altar is where I committed my life and love to my husband. You shouldn’t let just anyone create that space.

Hands down, Miranda with Intimo was by far the BEST decision we made during the wedding planning process and was our favorite vendor to work with.
Miranda is not only brilliant, creative, a master artist florist, she’s so much fun to work with! Being the indecisive bride, I kept changing flowers/​colors/​theme – Miranda was very flexible and brought an overly-​excited bride to ease and honed in on what I truly wanted, haha, what my husband and I wanted :).
From the bouquets, corsages, ceremony flowers to the reception décor – she made our dream into a reality.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Miranda (the owner)! Seriously — she is a gem of a person and an absolute delight to work with. She was so on top of everything and was invested in our wedding on a personal level from the very start. I was amazed at how she took my crazy, untamed thoughts about what I may or may not want and turned it into a perfect vision — way better than I could have ever imagined! The flowers were so beautiful. She picked just the right shapes and colors to suit our venue and overall vibe. I was blown away — seriously, blown away. And beyond the flowers, her personal investment went over and above what I thought possible from a florist. She cares SO much about her clients and making the wedding day the absolute best that it can be. She personally showed up to drop everything off, get it set up, get the corsages on the moms, and hand off the bouquets — AND she gave me and my bridesmaids a small coaching session on how to hold our bouquets and make sure our posture was in check throughout the ceremony and pics. I thought that was so sweet (and it worked too — we were «tweet tweet“ing at each other all day). I really can’t say enough great things about her. Stellar service, beautiful florals with incredibly artistic arrangements, and not a more caring, thoughtful, creative, on-​top-​of-​it florist out there. Just book her. Like right now. We heard about Miranda (of Intimo) online and we were incredibly excited she was available to provide flowers for our wedding. I could not be happier with my experience, and my husband feels the same.
Initially, we didn’t have any particular vision for our flowers, so Miranda patiently helped us find a floral style that was perfect for our joyous celebration. Everything was so beautiful, I still smile thinking about it!
Miranda went above and beyond. She was a calming, knowledgeable presence from the time she arrived (which was early) until she slipped away just before the reception. She taught me how to hold my bouquet, reminded us to eat and drink, and made sure everything looked perfect.
After the ceremony, Miranda repurposed the ceremony flowers for our reception and made sure everything got set up correctly. Our families commented on how charming and professional she is, and how unbelievably gorgeous the flowers were.

We worked with Miranda for our wedding in June. When we first met with Miranda we I thought that we had to go with the centerpieces the venue offered (which I didn’t love) in order to stay in our budget. After talking with Miranda and looking at the photos of the venue, she was able to create the most beautiful centerpieces that complimented the vintage look of the venue and the softness of the english gardens surrounding the venue. The bouquets were beautiful and unique. Even months after the wedding we are getting compliments on how beautiful they were.
Miranda was such a joy to work with. She was so attentive and I didn’t have to worry about the flowers once. I can’t recommend her enough! Our centerpieces were beautiful, the bouquets were amazing, and we even stayed in budget.

I asked Miranda only one thing, to «Wow» my bride. That was the standard of how I would gauge her success.
Miranda not only wow’ed my bride but she took her breath away. My bride turned to me and told me how nice the flowers are, at least three times over the course of our meal.

We picked Intimo based on the amazing Unilocal reviews and all the magazine publications. We do not regret it at all. Of all my caterers for the wedding this was the best one. More people liked her designs then they liked the five star chef’s food… who would have guessed? That says a lot.
Our photos are amazing. The photographers were very happy with what they got to work with. They were very excited to shoot it all.
Enough said. For the money you just get more. You get epic.

My wedding was gorgeous thanks to Miranda at INTIMO (and Mt. Hood)!
When I came to INTIMO to talk about what I wanted for our tiny, rustic wedding space all I knew is that I wanted wild flowers with a muted blue/​purple motif. I had zero flower vocabulary and had no idea what my needs were as far as how many flowers were needed and what I needed them for! Luckily, my ignorance was noooo problem. This company is expert in recommending the right amount of flowers for the space you have, the people in your wedding and the fixtures you want to accentuate (and they will help you with details you may not even have considered as they are wedding pros… and most of us are not).
On my wedding day, the flowers were all I had imagined… My hair piece, my bridal bouquet, the flower headbands of the flower girls, all the corsages, the flower girl baskets, the tables, the candelabras, and the buffet looked beautiful.
I truly could not have been happier with the service and the outcome and I recommend them to everyone.

Miranda at Intimo didn’t just do my flowers, she saved the day!
Yes, the flowers were gorgeous. Miranda met with me several times before the wedding to get an idea of what types of flowers I liked, my wedding colors, and what my budget was. We came up with a great plan and she kept me posted all the way! The bouquet turned out beautiful and so did all the corsages and boutonnieres.
The real magic happened on the day of the wedding. While my day of helper was busy setting up the food and other tasks, Miranda totally stepped in to soothe my nerves and help me get ready. She gave me detailed instructions on how to hold my bouquet to show it off beautifully without getting my dress wet. She was incredibly professional, helpful, and a dream to work with! She made me feel so calm and at ease on my big day. It was so great to know that the wedding flowers were something I didn’t have to worry about.

As the groom and the type of person who tends to be unenthusiastic about details and logistics, planning the decorations for our wedding was a daunting prospect. However, Miranda at Intimo made the undertaking the easiest part of the entire wedding, and the results were better than I could have imagined.
Miranda was incredibly professional, reassuring, and helpful. My wife and I (well, more my wife than I) had a few ideas as to what we wanted in the way of flowers, decorations, and general color themes; Miranda took our ideas and made them not only real, but good. She listened carefully to our fairly rough outline and quickly fleshed out the details with us, with the end result being a floral theme that was in harmony with the rest of the decorations, the wedding location, and indeed our own personalities.
On the day of the wedding, everything was taken care of — the flowers looked fantastic. I got to drink champagne and chat with guests rather than having to worry about the decorations — that was truly priceless.
I recommend Miranda and Intimo highly. Miranda is a gifted floral artist; she loves what she does, and it comes out in her work. Her efficiency, artistic sense, eye for detail, and genuine friendliness amount to exceptional service and first-​rate results.

I have had the opprotunity to work with Miranda not once but twice! The first occasion was for my elopement. I contacted Miranda to help me make my unformed ideas a reality. She went way beyond what I could have imagined! Our humble home was transformed buy her exquisite eye for detail. After she put magical touches around our home, she then gave the best man (our silky terrier) a perfectly sized bow tie that held our wedding bands. Too cute!
Thanks to Miranda, our wedding tured out perfectly. In fact our wedding was so special that it ended up being the featured wedding in Portland Bride & Goom’s Real Weddings. Yay!!!
The following year, Miranda made my little sister’s bridal boquet and boutonnière. On the morning of the wedding, I picked up the flowers and was floored by how georgous they were. My sister was so happy and they turned out more perfect than she could have ever hoped for.
Working with Miranda was a dream come true and I know that she loves her craft with all her heart. Miss Miranda is simply amazing!
