Wow, talk about a game changer. There’s no bullying about vaccines, antibiotics are not thrown around like candy, and they do food intolerance testing. This clinic is awesome. It’s hard to get in with Dr. Thomas because he’s so busy, but don’t worry if you get scheduled with his nurses or with the other doctors — they’re fantastic! The people at the front desk are sweet too. And they have a separate waiting room for sick kids, so if you’re coming in for a well visit you don’t have to worry about your kid picking something up.

After a bad experience, we switched pediatricians, and I had no idea you could«love» your pediatrician! We usually see Nurse Mallory, and she’s amazing! She takes the time to slow down and talk to you, but always with a smile. She’s genuinely excited when your child does something good, or we, as parents, have made good efforts. My kids love her, as well! All of the staff here is wonderful, there’s a nurse line, you can call for help/concerns. They’ve never failed to see us for a sick appointment. They even stayed 5 minutes after lunch, when we had an emergency with our son cracking his head open(no more monkeys jumping on the bed! lol), in which we saw Dr. Thomas. The rooms are always clean, the facility is clean and organized. We’ve never had to wait for too long to be seen. I could say 100s of 5-star things about every aspect of this place! Would HIGHLY recommend. FYI — they will do recommended or alternative vaccine schedules, or a combination, there-of. And were not pushy about either method, more-over what was best for our child.

Parents should proceed with caution when evaluating Dr. Thomas as a medical provider. My wife and i are healthcare and health and wellness executives and his professional care and conduct were not commercially reasonable in our opinion. My wife was initially attracted to Dr. Thomas’ care due to his attitude toward vaccinations and his more holistic approaoch to medicine. However, over time his original core values were overshadowed by lack of patient intimacy, poor record keeping and perpetural misdiagnosis. Immediately after our son was born Dr. Thomas told us that our son was losing too much weight, he recommended and we followed his advice on giving our son formula. only to find out a few weeks later that the data that he had given us was incorrect. A year later Dr. Thomas diagnosed our son with low iron and put him on supplements. He treated our son with this condition for six months and on most of our visits the data that was regurgitated to us was often different from one visit to the next and on a few occassions it was different even during the same visit. When we finally discussed with Dr. Thomas our concerns he became arrogant and disintersted in our concerns. After that many of his staff members followed suit with unprofessionalism that you would hope to never see in health care. His care had distinct qualities: 1) They were in the business of seeing such a large volume of patients that we were unable to discuss issues in detail and/or their short comings in providing care, 2.) Their record keeping on their electronic medical records were not managed well and they were unable to provide consistant information 3.) When our son faced great health challenges, rather than helping figure out the problem Dr. Thomas acted arrogant and unopen to our concerns. in fact, he insisted that everyone that had left his practice had returned. In our opinion, seek care elseware. Our experience with other physicians has been superior and you have better choices. On a positve note, when we left Dr. Thomas care, the next physician immediately figured out that the iron Dr. Thomas had proscribed to our son was actually causing the issue, our son healed shortly after following a new doctors advice. It is interesting to note that Dr. Thomas has a relationship with the iron provider and is proscribing iron phosphate and not iron sulphate, which is the usual supplement. Sorry for the long diatribe but we felt it was out duty as parents to reach out to others and let them know what to expect if they choose this provider.

Staff is beyond friendly and their outgoing demeanor shows at each visit. Paul N. Thomas MD puts the icing on the cake with his Aloha shirts and easy going, down to earth attitude. I Would recommend doctor Thomas to anyone looking for a safe and friendly environment to start a journey of memorable moments.

Like most parents I had a difficult time choosing a pediatrician. Finally I found one that meshed with my goals and philosophy. At our first visit, the doctor spent a lot of time explaining how they make vaccine recommendations. It made so much sense to me that my infant didn’t need shots to cover stds as long as I didn’t have any. Seems more reasonable to spread out all those shots and wait until his risk is higher. I appreciate being spoken to like a person of intelligence rather than just another first time mom… The ER docs tend to dismiss anyone who is there with their first child, it was refreshing to have a pediatrician who did the opposite. I like that they seem to appreciate that I know my kid better than they do, but also explain to me when what I“m seeing can be normal or not need a bunch of drugs. They put me at ease when I’m worried and keep my boy healthy. Really love Dr Thomas’s blog videos too!
