History

Established in 2008.

As a cancer survivor, I experienced successfully complimenting western medicine with gentle, alternative medicine throughout the entire cancer journey. Reiki sessions accelerated my healing after surgeries, alleviated side effects from chemotherapy treatments, and enabled me to continue working full time which the doctors doubted I could. Reiki Therapy, a light touch form of bodywork, relaxes and assists the body by releasing toxins and balancing all systems, physically and emotionally, using spiritaully guided life energy.

After my personal victory over cancer, I decided how important it would be to be able to learn Reiki to heal myself on a regular basis and to teach others how they can, too! I offer healing sessions for people and animals, whether dealing with physical or emotional conditions, and for those who are interested in staying healthy and teaching others how it can be so simple.

As a veteran school teacher and Parenting Educator, I now teach about health and happiness!

Until the summer of 2005, I was a school teacher and loved my career. I also received a Master’s Degree in Parenting Education and offered workshops to parents and other caregivers, priceless experience teaching adults.

A visit to the doctor in August of 2005 changed my life and path forever. Cancer. The word literally took my breath away. I researched healing modalities for assisting with cancer treatments and began reading about gentle, light-​touch Reiki Therapy. Reiki heals on all levels, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Once one allows Reiki, there is no energy that can hide from it. Then the choice is yours as to what heals… Ah, I had found the answer!

Reiki helped heal me of cancer and healed me of low self-​esteem, self-​doubt, and fear of not being accepted. Reiki turned out to be a personal healing tool on ALL levels. Reiki changed my life, my perception of my self, and awakened me to the inner light and healing gifts we all share!
