History

Established in 1958.

Founded by Joseph Hustad in the St. Johns neighborhood. Hustad Funeral Home sits at the corner of N. Richmond Avenue and Ivanhoe in the historic St. Johns business district. The firm has been operated by the Hustad Family continuously until ownership was assumed by Scott Logan in 2011. Currently the staff consists of Scott Logan, Tony Gray and Joseph O. Hustad, Jr., the founder’s son.

Orginally from Connecticut, Scott came to Oregon in 1978 as a child and has lived in Oregon since. Scott served his apprenticeship in McMinnville, Oregon. A graduate of Mt. Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts, Scott has been in the Funeral Business since 1987. Married to wife, Tracy and has two children, Adam and Emma Logan.
