So I’m a Mom and recently my children have taken up «Pokemon» trading cards. I know NOTHING about Pokemon only that the cards don’t involve a screen and the battles are a lot less violent than anything else they seems to play. Therefore, I’m all for it. Today we stopped by Hoopla and I have to say, the people there are awesome and helpful. My youngest is 6 and when they pulled out the«Super Secret Box» of cards(or whatever it was named) she couldn’t believe her luck. She knows exactly which of her cards came from there. I think it’s pretty awesome that they do something fun like that. I can imagine that dealing with kids all day would be difficult. Yet the people that helped us today were so friendly and engaged my kids by «testing» their knowledge and helping them in their decisions as to what to buy. Plus, they made it really fun for all of us. For trading cards, I wouldn’t hesitate encouraging someone to go to Hoopla. As a clueless consumer, they were great and I feel that I got more than my money’s worth.

Not a bad little card shop, they have all of the card supplies you need; and while you pick those up you can check out all of the commons, grouped by team. Not the best card shop I’ve ever been to but they do put forth a good effort. It seems as though their primary business is run online. Don’t collect them myself but they also seemed to have a pretty good assortment of game cards, and sport cards other than baseball. You won’t find much memorabilia here if you are looking for it, but the employees are nice and happy to chat up whatever team or sport you follow. Would rate higher in my book with a better selection and a cleaner presentation. The disorganization made it hard to appreciate what they do carry.
