Took my road bike in for dérailleur adjustment. The staff was super friendly, they fixed quickly and the price was reasonable. Will be coming back again.

Outstanding service. Super-​friendly, unpretentious staff. Tucked in a the back of multi-​business space (down the hall from Imperial Bottle Shop), this is the best shop with the best prices I’ve found in Portland.
After having my Scott CR1 stolen, I decided to get a lower-​profile bike, so I bought a beaten-​up Specialized Allez Comp, and I took it here to get it back to a more ride-​able shape. They gave it the best tune-​up I’ve ever gotten for the lowest price I’ve ever paid ($ 50).
I’ll definitely be coming back for any future service needs.

I refuse to go to any other bike shop. Holy Spokes is staffed with the absolute nicest, raddest dudes this side of the Willamette. I’ve brought my bike in for everything from a tune up to a parts replacement. The prices have are fair, the turn around is fast and the hours are perfect for a 9 to 5 office zombie like myself. Zero complaints and all compliments for this store.

Nice guys. Fair prices. Called to ask if additional services besides the tune up were okay with me. Held on to my bike when I was out of town and forgot to pick it up without complaining.

Everyone was super chill, knowledgeable and personable. They took care of my needs with regards to my needs. Great price too, I’ll definitely be using their business regularly.

Let’s just start off by admitting that I know nothing about riding a bike. A skill that I possessed as a 6 year old, eludes me in my mid thirties. Since I live in Portland, where bike riding is a great alternative to spending money on gas, an alternative to joining a gym and a pretty great way to explore a new city, I decided to get a bicycle.
I went to a few intimidating shops that asked me to learn a million gears, spend a million dollars and looked down their noses at me when I said I wanted «Something fun to ride, easy to learn on and a bike that could hold a baguette in a basket». Since I wasn’t about to open a new line of credit, I decided to commandeer an old 3 speed cruiser that I found lying in basement covered in dust.
I found Holy Spokes based on the great Yep reviews and I promise I wasn’t disappointed. This isn’t an ugly duckling story where they took the bike and in a day made it the belle of the ball. Instead they took a really old bike (67′ Huffy Sportsman), gave it new brake pads/​cables/​oil/​tires and who knows what else happens in a tune up. They made my rickety bike WORK and they didn’t take advantage of a biking newb.
They even humored me the next day when I brought back because I thought it was too loud. A new seat, pedal bars and a little more grease were applied and words of encouragement to, «Get out there and ride!». Were given.
This is going to be my go to shop for repairs and definitely where I give my money when I decide to get a new bike.

These guys are the BEST. always so helpful, so friendly, and such an amazing addition to the neighborhood.

Privately owned and operated owner Tim and his wife are profoundly the best people in the best neighborhood and the best bike shop to be running in the area. Tim answered all my questions that I needed and got my bike up an running, tuned and performing perfectly. I tried purchasing from him many products to see what sales tactics he’d use on me… but he steered me away to direct me to what I actually needed which was nothing at all. I’ve always agreed that honesty is the best policy and I would’ve paid more for his services if he had charged them. Great guy, great shop would definitely recommend him every day of the week.

After my beloved and basically brand new bike was stolen and miraculously returned to me in desperate need of some TLC, these guys brought her back to perfect condition. Not only was I happy to have my bike back, they were all so friendly and did everything that needed to be done in a timely manner. I will definitely be trusting Holy Spokes for anything bike-​related for a long time. :) So thank you!

Tim is a great mechanic and very nice dude.
Took my Surly in when it was a bit haggard and it come out of the shop 15 minutes later dialed and looking beautiful.

I brought my bike in for a full overhaul and Tim advised just a tuneup, since my hubs sounded good. He got my bike working great again within a day, and answered all my questions straightforwardly. Glad this shop moved into the neighborhood!

I ordered a new rack and set of panniers that didn’t fit together, and went to Holy Spokes to see if they could help me out. Tim changed out the hardware for me, quickly and for free! I’ll definitely be back here for parts and repairs.

Great spot! I needed to swap out my cog set for a new one and tried this place because it’s super close to my house. Tim was awesome, friendly, fast, and his parts are reasonably priced. He put on for me for me and even did a few other tweaks to get my bike back in top form. Highly recommended. check ‘em out!

I came to these fellows after my husband bought a commuter bike here. They have a lot of Dutch style models and Manhattans. I thought maybe they could help me with my new Electra from Bike Gallery? Her handles just felt too low to be comfortable on my injured shoulder. Moments later they had her kitted out with a new stem at the perfect height and at a great price! I come in whenever I have questions or need supplies. They are always happy to assist and even show me how to do some of my own maintenance! Really nice group of guys. Very fast, zero bullshit. Northeastern levels of service, if you know what I mean, but with the neighborliness you come to expect in Portland. Division is better biking for this shop!
