LOUD — this small section of holgate is a truck route to the train stations — unless you really love the sound of Jake-Brakes stay away! We picked this property due to its recent renovation, it seemed really really nice at first and the staff seemed friendly. While we lived there we had a number of significant problems — mice got in where the construction crew hadn’t sealed up the house and sewage backed up into our tub — management didn’t seem to think it was a big deal and were slow to respond every time. I feel stupid for not realizing this was simply a polished turd. Parking is a mess, what few spots there are are small and jammed in, but the garages cost as much as they do in the Pearl district. Upon moving out I was hit with a slew of bs charges — a small chip in the cheap ikea sink? $ 200 — an extra cleaning fee even though I spent 2 days scrubbing the small place down? $ 120 — an incorrectly charged additional 2 days of rent? $ 120 — I sent pictures with my complaints to no reply — Stephanie Nowlin the manager had been extremely unprofessional up to this point so it really came as no surprise that here I am 2 weeks later without so much as an acknowledgement reply. These apartments are loud, filthy, and poorly managed — having recently searched the market I can tell you there are better alternatives on the market, avoid at all cost.

I am amazed to find out from my friend who gave 30 days notice by email that Templeton Property says now that they did not receive it even though numerous voice mail messages were left saying the same notice was given. The replies are in his email and acknowledged. There are now charges that have gone to collections. No notice in writing was ever given of what my friend could correct before leaving the apartment. Is that legal? It is one thing to leave an apartment a duster area and another to have the apartment left professionally cleaned. It was left cleaner than it was when he moved in.

This place is the worst. It looks pretty good on the inside because the appliances are new and it was remodeled. Everything is actually cheap Ikea and falls apart. There is no parking. The location is industrial. The property management and maintenance workers are abusive, hostile, lie, cheat and will steal all of your deposit. They even will try to charge you for«damages» that are their responsibility to fix. I don’t know what makes this place a «loft» it certainly is overpriced piece of crap. Stay away from Jamie, Stephanie, and Keith. They are totally crazy, rude, and unresonable. This place is a mistake to live in and outrageous. I had the worst experiance living here. Stay away from Templeton management properties all together.
