High Class Piercing & Tattoo

Got my ears pierced here today, my third lobe piercing, but they are pretty high up due to the desire to continue gauging up my first lobe piercing. I am from out of town, so I researched on Unilocal a bit and settled on this place because of decent reviews and price. Lobe piercings are $ 20, or 2 for $ 25 with your basic stainless steel stud, but of course if you want any other jewelry, it’s gonna cost much more than that. I got two small black opals for a grand total of $ 70, a little more than I was expecting to pay, but I still would have had to pay more than that at my shop in ABQ, so that was fine. The shop seemed clean and professional, I witnessed my piercer take the proper sanitary steps and saw lots of framed certifications on the wall. My piercer dude was from out of town and not all that friendly, but made sure to do an even job on my piercings which was appreciated. He was also very fast, maybe 15 minutes for the whole process. They don’t provide you with anything afterward to take care of your piercing, as I am used to receiving a bag of sea salt, so I feel stuck in taking care of them until I go home in a few days. Overall, It could have been better, but it could have been much worse, too.

I was so impressed by how nice these people were. I got my nipples pierced here today and my friend got his eyebrow pierced, we both had a great experience. The man was very reassuring and I trusted him a lot. The piercing process was fast but he was super careful and payed attention to detail.

I wasn’t expecting much, as the sign outside is remarkably similar to a 90’s hair salon, but within minutes of browsing portfolios, I was sold on Change Wilson. He’s a fantastic artist, good with color and cover ups, which is exactly what I was looking for. I’m in the process of finishing a half-​sleeve with him, and get compliments on the work regularly.
I also got a couple dermal anchors done by Shawn. It was quick, and fairly painless. I was surprised at the speed and smoothness of the process, and his prices are unbeatable.
Overall, the shop is beautifully decorated, sterile, professional, and full of talented artists. The prices are fantastic, and the artists are friendly, welcoming, and hilarious. I will be going back many, many times in the future.

I had such an enjoyable visit and I was only there for less than 30 minutes.
The atmosphere is very clean and I was welcomed very nicely by Shawn.
Initially, I went there wanting his professional opinion on my two-​month old bridge piercing and how uncomfortably large the barbel was.
He advised me that I was pierced at a gauge (12g) that was way too large in both length and width. I got the piercing at Adorn in Beaverton, where they were very condescending. (Hence why I went to High Class.)
Once Shawn replaced my bridge with an appropriate 14g with a shorter length, my piercing has never looked better. Plus he charged me 10 $ for the jewelry! Adorn charged me 35 $ for JUST the jewelry, which I later found out was actually a TONGUE barbel. Ugh.
Big thanks to the shop for taking care of me at a very affordable price. I plan to come back for any needs I’ll have in the future!

I wish I could give seperate stars for my tattoo artist, and the shitstorm owner/​piercer.
Sharkbait– cool guy, good work, we had one issue but he quickly apologized to me and we worked it out. I wouldn’t go to this shop if it wasn’t for this guy. It just sucks that I have to put up with the owner when I go there. (5 stars for Sharkbait!) I would feel more comfortable recommending my artist to people if he worked in a more friendly environment.
Shawn– the piercer, owner, gorilla looking dude is an ass hat. The guy is rude, and full of himself. I got my nipples pierced from him. He was professional during my shirt off process of this. Which was cool, thanks for that dude. However, he didn’t take the time to see how much my nipples expanded out while relaxed. I am relatively large chested and have pretty proportional nipples for the size of my breasts. The bars he inserted fit me fine while my nipples were erect, but when they became relaxed they would swallow the bars. Granted some of this had to do with swelling, but now having these piercings healed and bars changed multiple times due to his error my ‘fits just right’ bar is still larger than the ones he installed. Anyway, after a few days I called Shawn and asked about changing the jewelry out for larger bars. He wasn’t very personable over the phone or in person when I had them changed. He said I just swelled a lot and brushed it off with his give no fucks attitude. The new bars he inserted were still too small. I didn’t go back to Shawn to have them changed this time. One of them had developed a blood blister from being pinched between the bar and ball of his shit jewelry. After having them changed by the other shop they healed up just fine. The piercings themselves look nice now. They were done even. But I could have gone elsewhere and had a better experience and quicker healing and likely have piercings that look the same.
In addition to this, each time I have came in for work on my tattoo the guy was a dick for no reason. During one of my sessions a woman had gotten a tattoo from someone who wasn’t my artist and they mispelled something but the owner forced my artist, who I already had an appointment and put money down for, to try and fix the tattoo before starting on me. The entire time the owner did not say a word to me, tell me I would be waiting, or apologize for my wait.
He offers people money off services for leaving a 5 star review. This was a practice he did in the past. I am not sure if it is still in effect. He jumps on the Unilocal victims bandwagon about how it hurts small businesses. If he treated his clients with more respect and had at least some customer service I am sure he would receive better reviews. The only time he actually was friendly with me was when he was pushing the 5 star Unilocal review which is pathetic.
I am likely going to receive some passive-​aggressive/​aggressive-​aggressive response from him not even acknowledging anything I said and calling me a loser/​phony/​whatever. This is a horrible business practice and if it wasnt for the artists in your shop I doubt you would be able to keep your business open.

I came here to get piercings for both of my daughters. One wanted snake bites and the other needed her ears redone. We were welcomed immediately. Brought right back and the piercer was done within 5 minutes. Both of my daughters are incredibly happy with the outcome. I appreciate the level of comfort they provided and the accuracy and the after care information. I highly recommend the shop.

I came here about 2 months ago to get my tragus pierced& it was easy & simple! I was sketched out about the price at first because it was really low compared to 60 $+ in Seattle but I love it! Everyone who worked there was really nice! Was in & out within 10 minutes! Great service.

Went in today before work to get a second piercing on my ears! Definitely a nice and clean place. They’ve got a table with some albums of tattoos and piercings they’ve done. They looked great. Wish I was brave enough to do more but for now I’m good with what I have! Definitely am always coming here for all future piercings. The owner is a sweetheart & very friendly and funny. Pierced my ears so gracefully and it didn’t even hurt. Was shocked that it was done so fast!

Tattoo came out nice but the welcome-​ness of the staff was non-​existent. They were way too into each other to even say Thank You to me when I paid and left the shop. Don’t go for the ambiance but it’s ok if you’re looking for something quick and cheap done.

You know all those amazing tattoos you see on Instagram and facebook, but the artists charge 700 $ an hour and live in the UK? Sorrow no more because I’ve found the mecca of the most unique, creative and on-​point you artwork you’ll ever need, I’m talking fresh to death. If want some unique and rad as fuck artwork, go here. I have only been personally tattooed by Jacob but the other two artist that work there have some of the cleanest tattoos Ive seen in my 21 years of life, especially sacred geometry and portraits. Besides that, their shop in it self is a great environment with a chill vibe with people who really want to just see their clients walk out happy. Love this place, if you have an idea already or have no idea what you want they have a bunch of awesome designs ready to go. You are gauranteed to walk out of this place more badass than when you walked in.
Also worth mentioning that this is one of the only places you can walk in on a whim and get tattooed same day without waiting weeks, and they tattoo fast. So you really get your money’s worth.

I’ve been here twice and I will not return. I found this place to be very unhelpful when asking questions about piercings and jewelry. Each time I left unhappy with my purchase and felt like the dude could care less. I’m all about supporting local businesses but I’m done with this one.

Great place! I got my industrial bar put in here and it was quick and practically painless. It’s positioned perfectly too. Everyone there was very pleasant and made sure I was taken care of. The atmosphere was really laid back and calming so this is definitely not going to be my last trip there cause I have some tattoos in mind I think they can rock at doing from looking at the art they’ve already done.

So I’ll start off by saying I’ve read other reviews on the professionalism and attitude of the staff … Which I found everyone to be genuinely friendly and helpful. Environment was clean and made you feel comfortable
The owner shawn (sp?) seems like a wonderful dude who cares about everyone that walks in. Everyone was professional. This place is good if you want to get right in. I’m no stranger to getting tattoos and always found a 3+week wait time. The artist who did mine was quick. It was way cheaper than I’m used to paying.
My tattoo came out super colorful. With a lot of detail. Having said all that being that I have ocd there was a few things I wasn’t pleased with but it’s a walk in tattoo and it was inexpensive so it is what it is.
I noticed one eye is slightly bigger than the other and the smaller ones pupils look a bit darker. Also a few spots have blown out a bit (I’m pretty much a veteran to tattoos and none of em I’ve gotten before have blown out). This is not a bad tattoo by any means. Just a few spots I wasn’t quite happy with which I didn’t notice till I got home. I realize I’m pretty picky but hey when it’s on your skin for your life you can’t blame me right?

First time in this studio for my third tattoo. Walked in and was greeted by I assume the piercer. Told him what I was going to get. He handed me paperwork and my boyfriend drove home to grab me a tank top. The guys in the shop were very polite and kind. I told them what I want, where I want it, and they told me a very reasonable price. I’m very pleased with the end results.

I went in yesterday to get my sons name in cursive and his birthday in Roman numerals. My tattoo turned out AWFUL! The cursive was thin, crooked, uneven and the line work was terrible. The Roman numerals weren’t even symmetrical to the writing above. They were uneven, chunky in some spots and had several places he didn’t go over enough that were already faint and see through almost. I was charged $ 80 and tipped $ 15 and my tattoo was done in all of 15 minutes. My tattooer was named Constantine. I do NOT recommend this place at all!!! I’m already planning a cover up and having it redone by somebody else. There is no saving it.

This place has a really great atmosphere, I went in for a Friday the 13^th special and ended up having to hang out for awhile to wait for an available artist and I didn’t mind in the slightest.
The main floor is open which makes it easy to see what’s going on around you. I enjoyed getting a glimpse at the various artists banter with their clients. Everyone there was sociable and friendly which isn’t always necessarily the case when you go into a tattoo parlor.
It was my first trip into this shop and at the time I had no preference to my artist and I ended up getting tattooed by Change Wilson. Change was friendly and carried a very comfortable type personality. He was professional and probably the most proficient tattoo artist I’ve ever had the pleasure of tattooing me.
I have every intention on returning to High Class in the very near future and Change will be the guy I see.

My partner came in to get his nose pierced today and it was a great experience. The piercer was very friendly and professional! Workspace and shop were very clean. The piercing process was fast and I could tell the piercer was very experienced, and he made sure that my partner was happy with the placement of the nose piercing.
I will definitely come back here for myself. High Class is fast, professional, and a great deal for a high quality piercing.

Greated by Shawn right away. He was nice and helpful. My daughter came in for an ear cartilage piercing. She didn’t even blink. He did it so fast!
After she was done I asked if they had a certain type of nose ring. Not only did he show me quite a few and offer advice about the setting, but offered to change it out for me (even though I didn’t have it pierced there).
Great service and it was half the price of other parlors!!!

Everyone at this place super rocks. I’m so happy I ventured in. I’d noticed the shop as I’m frequently in that area but had never gone in. It was amazing. I’ll be back soon. I was a walk-​in and they were beyond accommodating.
