So I normally don’t have the opportunity to rave much anymore. I find more so now you find people in customer service that just go through the motions and not out of thier way to go above and beyond. the experience I had at Henry’s proved me wrong! My family and I were tired and hungry and decided while on a layover at the airport we would catch lunch at Henry’s. My husband and oldest shared the bbq burger and i split Mac and cheese with my little one. Now the food was great aside from a small mishap with the Mac and cheese but what really stuck with my family was our insane server David Olson! Now I admit sometimes we can be a pain but David treated us like we were long lost friends. My kids thought he was hilarious, he was a little busy but you wouldn’t tell. He had our beverages full, got my kids some crackers to hold them over and was all around pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place but also recommend saying hi to David. He is a bright light in a sea of beige…

On my flight from Portland to California, I made a quick stop at this restaurant. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and oh man was it good. It was delicious, better then what I expected. I recommend anyone who has the time and is hungry to stop and have lunch here before your flight.

Service: Fast, friendly, professional, and generally tend to be knowledgeable about the beer selection. Food: Great! I miss the Kristine Burger, as I prefer the smaller portion size, but I suppose I’ll live. The gorgonzola waffle fries are amazing and a must-have. Parking: They don’t have any, this is Portland. Street parking or parking garages are your options — of which there is plenty, as long as you’re willing to walk a little.

Surprised to see so many great reviews. The host was nice, but once i sat down things and downhill. I got a Stella beer, yum. Then waited and waited and waited, no food and empty glass. I was about ready to get up and walk out, then my waiter came by and I placed an order for a mojito and chicken strips. the Mojito was the worst thing I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like straight lime juice. it instantly made me sick to my stomach and it’s been 20 minutes my waiter still hasn’t come to check on me about it so I can’t tell him about the awful drink. as for the chicken strips, the only thing I can taste besides the obscene amount of pepper is all the burnt batter. for the amount of money you pay for food and beverages in an airport I would expect the experience to have been a whole lot better than this. I will never come back and if you’re looking for food at PDX I recommend any place but here. Unless of course you’re just having beer.

I looooove their beer cheese soup. They also serve one of my favorite beers — Rogue hazelnut. In regular and large glasses! While I miss Gustav’s, Henry’s is a great replacement at PDX. The gorgonzola waffle fries look amazing.

After fighting two hours of traffic in bad weather, any place to sit would be welcomed. Henry’s Tavern, however, also has friendly servers, Thursday Night Football on seven TVs, refreshing and clean-tasting iced tea, and amazing Mac ‘n’ Cheese! If you sit at the counter facing the window you also have your very own outlet to charge up your electronic devices before boarding your flight. One happy(although exhausted) camper here!

I’ve been to Henry’s twice will passing through Portland. This is a really nice place to grab some food and a drink while you wait for your flight. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, and the food here is definitely better fare than typical airport food. The Gorgonzola waffle fries are amazing. Don’t ask — just order them. I didn’t understand this item on the menu but I just went for it and I wasn’t disappointed. My last order here was the grilled chicken club, with applewood smoked bacon, avocado, ripe tomatoes and garlic mayo. It tasted amazing, but this sandwich is so big I could hardly put it down. You can almost share this with a friend. Service here is excellent. Despite most airport bars being very busy, they do a really good job here of keeping tabs on your food and drink and will make sure your glass never empties.

I love travelling out of PDX — super choices for food. This place had a great breakfast for a very reasonable price. Nice sized portions, awesome seating choices, and excellent service. We had the vegetable frittata which had fresh and plentiful avacado. The bacon and cheese omlette was also yummy. We would definitely stop here again.

Beer and tasty bar food as you«wait»… Or «just land» in my case(awaiting a fellow coworker). I started with a Rogue Dead Guy Ale($ 8) and boy was it refreshing. More on the malty side, but was served nice and cold! More bold tasting versus crisp. That’s about all I had. The coworker shared the Gorgonzola Waffle Fries($ 10.95): Now I didn’t wanna eat this, but was offered and couldn’t say NO. It had big gorgonzola crumbles and was topped with a tasty creamy gorgonzola sauce. Unlike the beer, the waffle fries were crispy as they should be. Just addictively good! Served on a big plate definitely worth sharing. My only regret was not getting the name of our server. She was courteous, and even refilled our water glasses without asking. The atmosphere here was fairly typical and modern. When I had to leave PDX, I noticed there wasn’t a seat available. But overall, a great place to kick it while you wait, and of course relax with a beer and the game.

I thought this place was phenomenal! I had a delayed flight. The service was great! I had the fish and chips. It was a bit pricey but it was worth it once I tasted the Blue Moon beer batter. I had one of their draft IPA’s. Just what I needed for my long flight ahead! They only thing is, I wish their menu was larger! Cant wait to try again. Oh and the view is amazing!

I complain always about flying out of OAK because the bars suck and the food suck. It takes forever to get any service, or anything in general– so more the reason for my 5 stars. My roommate and I were getting ready to board our flight at Gate 14 when we spotted Henry’s Tavern. We saw it when we flew in but they were closed by them. It really does catch your attention, it’s super cute and and barrels for decoration(you have to see it). I wanted a quick beer, literally quick because I downed the pint in about 2 minutes so we could board. They were super friendly about us leaving our luggage right there on the floor, just making sure we’re not blocking the walkway. I was surprised by the hospitality. Everybody was all smiles and the bartenders were legit. Super sweet girls and know exactly how to serve their customers. Great conversations and brought me a sample beer before I even asked for it. She really was paying attention! A pint cost $ 6 which was a sweet deal for me. Full bar and they had at least 15 beers on tap. The best part?! Was the ice bar lined around the bar area so my beer was COLD the entire time. I was so tripped out by it, but it was so genius. Overall, super crisp beer and super cold. Love everything about Henry’s– you wouldn’t even think that it was inside an airport. Good prices and great services. Cheers to you PDX!

If you’ve ever been to a Henry’s you know they do a good job with good and drinks. My one beef with the airport location(besides a $ 17 salad) is the chips. LAYOFFTHESEASONING. I ate one chip and wasted the rest(which pained me) but they are snow here’s in seasoning. Henry’s is pricy in general but the airport gouges a little more on some items(salads). If your diet is out the window you can get the chicken tenders with fries for $ 9. As you see in my photo it’s plenty of food and if you get the chips you can die from sodium overload. Great spot for a variety of beers before a flight.

Great spot to grab an ice cold beer(literally) and a bite to eat! We sat at the bar, which had an ice block around the entire edge. This kept my beer nice and cold the entire time. Food-wise I only ordered the calamari appetizer. which was delish! The calamari was well seasoned and perfectly cooked! It had a nice light crispy breading… It also came w/jalapeño bacon tartar and chipotle cocktail. The jalapeño bacon tartar was my fav of the two. I’m not very big on cocktail sauce. But I thought tartar sauce infused with bacon and jalapeño flavors was a perfect touch!

Killing time before my flight home. Ordered a Bloody Mary, and the guys next to me hinted to ask for it spicy. Ordered the Ged Caesar Salad which is amazing! Didn’t think I would like grilled lettuce, but the smokey flavor is super tasty. Comes with whole grilled romaine, sun dried tomatoes, pickled peppers, creamy parm dressing, and herbed croutons. Soooo tasty! Oh, and playing Don Henley Boys of Summer.#forthewin

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. My oatmeal was just not that great and the side condiments had strange flavors. My husbands Cobb salad was missing the bacon and was clearly dressed with Caesar dressing before someone probably realized it was supposed to be a Cobb then just brought a side of blue cheese dressing anyways. Wouldn’t make it a point to come back here.

Hard to go wrong with a bar at the airport. Service was really fast. A FABULOUS beer list and a view of the runway. The music is older than half of the servers. If you don’t mind blaring 80’s music, you are in the right place.

This place is A-ok. I knew I wanted to come here once I saw that they have a Mac-n-cheese burger, lots of beer options, and seemed to be quite popular in the airport. I was seated immediately, ordered a beer and the cheesy burger. The plate was scorching hot, the fries were soggy and the meat patty had no flavor at all, but overall the food wasn’t too bad. The Mac-n-cheese tasted garlicy and was pretty good and it also had big slices of bacon on it. The bun was toasted and all the veggies on the burger went well together. The entire meal filled me up pretty good. Of course airport food is overpriced but this place was ok. It was better than all the other options.

They start serving booze at 5am. Yes they do. We were on an early flight and really wanted a drink and a bite to eat before flying. Had not been down on this end of the airport in years and would have gone over to Rogue if we had enough time, which we didn’t and I am glad because we went here! Ordered a Bloody Mary and a screwdriver, yes, thank you I will have a double… Nice bartender she was rockin out to some dj jazzy Jeff on the sound system. Funny. The regular breakfast was exactly what we wanted. Eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes and homemade jam. All real food. Nothing out of a package it tasted like I made it at home. They have about 20 awesome beer taps and a great view of planes coming and going. I love people watching in airports I kind of wish I could hang out there even if I wasn’t flying. How can you not love PDX?
