This is a tiny cart located on the PSU campus that really doesn’t look like much. But don’t be fooled. For a very reasonable price, you can get very delicious clean fish and chips, fast. The style of the food reminds me of traditional pub fare but is not overly greasy. Fish is good, fries are good, give it a try.

This cart is modern, clean, and delicious! The fish and chips remind me of delicious bistro style pub food. Fresh, crisp, tender, not grossly greasy. It’s on the PSU campus. Definitely will be back!

I’ve tried a few fish and chips places around Portland and abroad. This is hands down the best fish and chips in Portland! Only reason I would drive from work to get lunch at PSU(and remember school days) is to get some tasty fish and chips for lunch! They taste soooooo good! And they serve good amount of fries with it, so it’s totally worth the price! The pieces are big enough for one person. Thankfully someone put reasonable price for a lunch meal and not just jack it just because. Keep up the good fish and chips! I wish to have them on weekends but some launches would do for now! ;)

Loved my first visit to Happy Fish & Chips. They were at the Cathedral Park Jazz Fest’ 15. The menu of the day was Wild Alaskan Cod for only $ 7. I put another order at a nearby food cart for my partner. While I waited for the other, the two friendly guys at Happy Fish & Chips had my order ready in no time at all. Not only were they fast, but my fish was beautifully fresh and crisp. My partner regretted not getting an order of his own. He thought, «what could you get for a $ 7 Fish and Chips order»? Well, you get a nice order of Wild Alaskan Cod fish and chips pronto. We will seek out their regular location. Looks like they are fairly new.
