Half Price Portland

I put a half price ad on their website. After 3 or 4 months it was supposed to be taken down. It never was. Now they have dropped the price from 800 to 100, without my approval. So, they expect me to DJ for 6 hours for 100 bucks of which I only get 50 dollars after they take their «commission». DO NOT list with these people.

Ordered one «deal» from Half Price Portland and will never be doing so again. I ordered a deal for Mt Hood Adventure Park here in Oregon and received an email the same day telling me to expect the tickets to arrive between 7 – 10 days. 10 days later and the tickets have not shown up yet, so I decide to give them a call. No answer. I sent an email and got a response relatively quickly. In the email response they said that they had shipped the tickets from somewhere in Ohio a week after I had ordered them and that I should now wait 7 – 10 business days for shipping. First off, if this company is called Half Price Portland and the tickets are for somewhere in Oregon, why are they shipping from somewhere in Ohio? Secondly, the email I received when making the purchase said that the tickets would be at my house within 7 – 10 days, when in actuality I ended up having to wait for 18 business days. It should be noted that these tickets were set to expire 6 weeks after I ordered them. If they had arrived within a week or two after I ordered them this would have been fine, but after the 4 weeks that they made me wait I would have only had 2 weeks left.
Here’s the kicker, the tickets never showed up. I’m not sure if they got lost in the mail or if Half Price Portland simply never sent them. In any case I’m out $ 70 and now I can’t even get ahold of Half Price Portland. I’ve been calling them daily and they never answer the phone. I’ve also emailed them twice and not heard back. If they ever get back to me I’ll demand a refund and never purchase anything from them again. When it comes to deals like this I’ll stick to LivingSocial and Groupon. Thanks, but no thanks Half Price «Portland».

I have purchased several items from this site. I think it used to be Half Price Thursday, but I believe it is the same group with a new name. Bring back the ½ price beach deals, I love ‘em!
