Being a non-​homeowner and not having any kids, our taxes are usually easy-​peasy and we file 1040 EZ forms. This past year, we sold some stocks and did other things that resulted in us getting 1099 wackiness mailed to us.
Whenever my taxes require us to do more than the standard 1040EZ, I take them to H & R Block. We have used Kathy Roberts at the Greenway Town Center location a few times and she is always knowledgeable, professional and very helpful.
Thanks to Kathy, we filed our taxes correctly and instead of owing the government money (which I thought we would) she filled out the forms correctly and we are getting a decent refund. Hooray!
