Fieldwork Flowers

I had a wonderful experience ordering a very special arrangement for a recently-​bereaved friend. I really felt that they heard how important it was to me, and took the nature of the circumstances as well as the character of the recipient to heart in designing the arrangement. Communication was prompt and thorough, and the process was delightful and effortless. And the arrangement was stunning! I could not have asked for more.

I was a little skeptical filling out a form describing what I wanted and never seeing what the arrangement would look like. However, I was blown away how spot on my order was. I sent a bouquet to my girlfriend and she loved them and she said they are exactly what she would have ordered herself. Unique and thoughtful. My only wish is that there was some sort of email delivery confirmation. Go with Fieldworks if you are looking to send something memorable and design conscious.

I just loved my Fieldwork Flowers and they saved my mom’s life. Here’s the story, I received a big beautiful bunch of flowers from a friend at my house. Everything was great, but the zinnias were a little old and I called to let them know. The owner said she would send out a new bunch of flowers to replace the old bouquet. She called the next day to tell me when the delivery was scheduled. My elderly mother was home and had locked herself out of the house on one of the hottest days this summer. She is blind and can’t find her way around. The flowers were delivered and the woman who delivered the flowers found my mom on the front porch. She helped her call me at work and I was able to come home to rescue her.
Besides being a life saver, this company makes great bouquets. I hear that they use local flowers and that is a plus. Both bouquets were very unique and eye popping. We enjoyed them for a long time.

Wrong name, no card, sad plant. Tried to resolve by phone, but no one answered during business hours. I ordered a plant with a card that said, «Debbie — To new beginnings — Barry», delivered to Debbie’s place of business.
They delivered the plant, saying they had a delivery for Barry, so everyone was looking for a Barry at her place of business. The plant finally made it to Debbie — with no card. The only way she knew it was from me (Barry) was that’s who they had said the plant was for (not from). And it was a less than attractive echinacea and lavender pot. Two stars because they did deliver something to the correct address in the time frame requested.

Full disclosure, I ordered a while ago and am just now getting round to my review.
Beautiful arrangements that deserve 5 stars, but the people at Fieldwork never answered the phone when I tried to order and never replied to an email requesting info. I will absolutely go to them again for arrangements, but being a customer yet treated as a total non-​priority is not my favorite. Hopefully things have changed. Will update if things are better the next time I need to send flowers.

Megan and her team go above and beyond to create the most gorgeous arrangements. As an event planner I work with Fieldwork on many events including weddings and corporate functions. Fieldwork is professional, on time, and most of all accommodating to any request! They are super fun to work with and always go the extra mile. I highly recommend their services!

High end prices for low end quality. The quality of my Valentines delivery was shocking, in a bad way. My boyfriend was out of town and asked for a dozen red roses in a very nice arrangement and vase. That is not what I received. I received 8 red roses of 2 different varieties, a couple white snap dragons and a lot of filler that looked like a weeds and smelled like a skunk which overpowered the smell of the roses. Who does that? The flowers were in a smaller vase they barely fit in with no floral foam and weren’t even arranged. They weren’t wrapped either. Nothing about this arrangement screams the romance of «Valentines Day». 2 days after receiving them 4 of the roses, 1 snap dragon and the skunk weed started to die. They were closed Sunday and Monday so couldn’t talk to anyone. If you didn’t have what he requested you should of just of been honest. He payed a lot of money for these and you should respect your customers. He would of been a regular since I live in the neighborhood.

Well played! The delivery gal calls me from my Valentine’s door-​step to say there’s no answer and she didn’t want anyone to steal them if she was to leave them at the door. I was like well look around does it look like anyone will steal them? She says no so I say well thanks just leave them there. So I text my Valentine to look on the stoop. Perfect surprise! From miles away. And what do you know they are her 2^nd favorite flower which is good. Thanks!

Fieldworks recently did the flowers for our son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner. They were amazing and so easy and fun to work with. Thank you so much

Thought I’d try this shop out since it had positive reviews on here, but it appears that was a mistake. I specifically asked that the arrangement be delivered before my wife got off work, but they were late and missed our special day. Tried calling multiple times to ensure delivery but just got the answering machine… if timeliness is important to you, avoid this company

Megan perfectly handled the logistics of my order. I called from out of state to have a bouquet delivered to friends in Portland with a recent death in the family. Megan took my order over the phone. The flowers were delivered later that afternoon, as promised.
In addition to nailing the logistics of flower delivery, Fieldwork Flowers creates beautiful and unique arrangements. Rather than the overly coiffed and soulless arrangements so common to flower shops, Fieldwork Flowers creates arrangements with vitality and vision. The shop’s use of color, symmetry (or lack of), dimension and height make for extraordinary displays.
Finally, the people at Fieldwork Flowers clearly know their craft. Megan took my order over the phone and was helpful, informative and professional. She advised me on the locally grown flowers of her shop and listened to my own requests and preferences. The final product was beautiful, perfectly captured the boost of happiness I wanted to convey, and considering the quantity and quality, the price was utterly reasonable. If only they had a shop in Colorado.

I’ve been using Fieldwork Flowers since it opened and I continue to be impressed by the quality of their floral arrangements as well as their customer service. One of my absolute favorite things about using Fieldwork’s website is that all my info is saved so I can order and re-​order flowers for delivery online in like, 2 minutes. I usually include a brief like «Mother’s Birthday, classic/​fragrant» but honestly, anything they create out of their studio is so beyond any other florist they don’t need any sort of a brief at all. Today I went to their beautiful store to pick up an arrangement in person and I was SO blown away by the incredible bouquet they created that I just had to shout it from the rooftops– Fieldwork Rules.

I never cared for flowers… until I met Annie and Megan! My fiancé and I needed a florist for our wedding, but was on a budget since we already spent so much on the venue, catering, and entertainment. When we met Annie she was full of energy and passionate about flowers. She totally understood our budget and educated us on how flower costs vary due to the season and where they are sourced and gave us suggestions based on our wedding date and what’s grown locally.
What I really appreciated about working with Annie was her expertise on wedding floral arrangements. Traditional boutonnieres or wrist boutonnieres tied with a ballet ribbon? Contained bouquets or more loose bouquets? Re-​purposing the bouquets to be used as décor or a toss bouquet? All things we would have never thought of (because unless you’ve been in enough weddings or know a lot about flowers how else is any of this intuitive?). She coached us through each idea kindly and made the decision process fun and easy. She was also open to us providing the flower vases ($ 2 a piece from IKEA!) to help stay within the provided budget and be able to give away the centerpieces at the end of the night and not worry about returning rental vases.
Fast-​forward weeks later, I met with Megan and Annie to go over the mock centerpieces, boutonnieres, and my bouquet. Megan is a sweetheart and a flower whisperer. The original centerpiece idea was going to cost more than expected so Megan suggested a few ideas and I ended up loving the new centerpiece idea! (see white and green centerpiece in their photos). The boutonnieres were going to include some of the same flowers from the centerpieces to tie everything together nicely. The only disappointment was I liked my mock bouquet better than the wedding day bouquet. I asked for 70% pinks and corals and there was more white flowers than expected, some reds and oranges that weren’t in the mock bouquet, and a couple pieces were slightly droopy. Still received a lovely bouquet, just different than the mock and what was expected.
I’ve grown to appreciate flowers and florists through working with Fieldwork Flowers and highly recommend them for flower needs big or small. Plus the location along SW Waterfront can make for a fun afternoon stroll with lots of eateries within walking distance!

We recently arrived at our hotel room in Portland to find the most magnificent bouquet awaiting us. Not only was it one of the fullest flower arrangements ever, but it was also a visually stunning combination of tulips, roses, ranunculus and lilies. What’s more, it remained fresh and beautiful for 2 weeks after we brought it home with us. It was the perfect birthday gift. Fieldwork Flowers excels.

While I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting this lovely spot in person they helped to make my mother’s first Mother’s Day in Portland spectacular. Their online order form is a breeze and they leave a lot of room for customer input. I will definitely be ordering from these fabulous folks again.

Megan is a rock star! She went out of her way to deliver flowers (gorgeous by the way) and chicken noodle soup to my lady friend who was down with a cold. It brightened her day and let her stay home and get better. Thanks a million Megan, you helped bring a smile to a couple faces today :) Customer for life!

This was our very time here. We stumbled across it by accident, best accident ever. We needed a last minute terrarium gift for our friend. Megan was so sweet and whipped up such a cute little terrarium. She gave us a few options and let us help build it. I loved her and her sister’s energy and personalities! It felt like a family member’s florist shop. Her prices were perfect and her attitude was worth way more! Love this florist shop and will keep coming back. Thanks guys for a great experience.

Megan made the most beautiful peony bouquets for my June wedding! She has a very unique and creative approach, was easy to work with and very reasonably priced. She even delivered the flowers to my venue and coordinated with my wedding planner so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

My bland desk & office space are so much happier (and so am I) with the beautiful addition of a terrarium Megan made for me. She even put some crystals in there, tucked behind some gorgeous succulents, which, I am certain, improve my attitude at work! My budget is squeezed tighter than an arachnid caught in a Venus Flytrap these days, but for the sheer joy that terrarium provides, it is so worth it!
