They let my husband sit in one of their massage chairs instead of making him sit on the uncomfortable waiting area chairs. So awesome.
My nail technician was amazing! She really helped me, like actually helped me to pick a color and a style of polish that would work for what i wanted not just be expensive. I have a friend who got a polish that changes color based on temperature! Technically this is about my experience but that is so cool!

I live in SW Portland and after checking out listings of «top rated nail salons» I found Exp Salon. I know I am a perfectionist, my nom de plume «RoyalPainD» wasn’t given to me for nothing. Ha! I find it fascinating the Vietnamese Mafia controls the nail biz; I am so grateful they do. I was lucky and was given an appointment with Tiffany. I cannot say enough complimentary things about her. I needed my old set of solar nails removed and replaced with a new set. She is not just a nail technician, she is truly an artist. Her attention to detail is extraordinary, her technique has been honed by 7 years experience; no motion is wasted. I wear my nails long with very sharp points, think tiger claws. She understood exactly what I wanted and my nails are spectacular! I opted for shellac polish, again it was applied with perfect precision. We had a great conversation about men, children, MOTHERS, YIKES! and life in general. Removing my old set, clipping my cuticles, new set, shellac and hand/​arm massage came to $ 56! I couldn’t pay her fast enough and gave her a $ 12 tip. I am now a devoted customer. Tiffany cannot stop doing my nails until she puts the last set on so I look fab for the viewing in my coffin. I really like this place! I just moved from CA a few months ago and u know how hard it is to find a new everything! I do not remember how I stun blend upon this place but I’m sure happy I did! Free wifi, complementary tea, massage chair, clean environment, lots of colors to choose from and friendly, professional staff! It’s in this strip mall that is not very glam but they ensure that the surroundings are welcoming and bright. If you drive by and u are skeptical, give them a shot!

I am a cosmetologist myself, so spotting a solid nail spa is sometimes a challenge. There are so many «chop shops» around. this is NOT one of them!!! THIS WAS THE BEST MANI I HAVE HAD IN YEARS! It was done by a LICENSED professional, it was complete and it was PAINLESS!!! And the price!!! WOW!!! I am a client for life! I’m so pleased with EXP, I downloaded the app just to rate them!

Great place to get your nails done. Tracey or Sarah are the best and I highly recommend them. Tiffany is good too but sometimes can get a little chatty and loses focus on her leg massages when she talks. It’s a small but clean salon and they are very polite and eager to gain your business and trust. Plus, they don’t talk about you as you sit in the chair!

I went to this location about a week ago and wanted to wait to write my review to see how my nails looked… well we’re about a week later and my nails still look perfect. Tracy is the one who helps me I believe she is the owner she was really sweet and offered me a new product for my nails which I absolutely love. She took her time and make sure that I was completely satisfied with my nails before she let me leave. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

I absolutely love this place and would recommend to anyone looking for a manicure/​pedicure that is always perfection. I have been frequenting this place for a few years now and always enjoy the experience and excellent customer service. I have never been disappointed and always come out with a perfectly done manicure. Personally, I have been to salons in the past that have no regard for the experience and put the nail polish on sloppy and rushed. Exp Salon offers a reasonable price and you will never be disappointed!

EXP salon is the best! I used to go to a salon near my house, but the care and expertise here outshines so many other salons I used to go to thru the years! I used to be told that my nail lifting was my fault, when in reality, it was incompetent nail esticians compared to Tracy, who gives me perfect nails every time and no more lifting! Thru the past 20 years, I have gone to a good number of salons on the west side of Portland and this is the best! Outstanding pedicures, relaxing and clean atmosphere. Tracy has transformed this place since she took over I hear. Actually followed her from another salon. All who work here are terrific at what they do!

I followed Tracy from another salon because I am super picky about my manicures and she is absolutely the best. Her attention to detail is on point. I am in the beauty industry and I understand the importance of both customer service and providing a great service to keep a clientele. She is by far the best.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! They are GREAT! I just had a mani/​pedi and it was fabulous. The owners are really sweet and they do a fantastic job. Most importantly, the salon is incredibly clean. Definitely check it out!

Great salon for a relaxing time. New management have created a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The paraffin and hot towel with each mani or pedi is an indication of the detailed pampering each client receives. Complimentary tea or water and free Wi-​Fi add to the overall experience.
