The Exchange Ballroom is a 6,200-square-foot, column-​less event and wedding venue located near the east end of Burnside Bridge.

With over 6,200 square feet of space, you can seat up to 368 guests for your wedding or corporate dinner. For cocktail parties, mitzvahs and parties, you can host up to 425 guests for a standing reception.

Cascade Rooftop offers unparalleled views of the Portland skyline and three conference rooms can accommodate 14 – 140 guests.

VT Group is the exclusive provider of food and beverage at the Exchange Ballroom & Cascade Rooftop.

History

Established in 2014.

The Eastside Exchange Building was build in 1925 and is listed on the national registry list of historic places. Previously slated for demolition, Beam Development stepped in and partnered with the Portland Development in Commission to renovate the building in 2013. The building is silver LEED certified, an achievement in green building.

We utilized the Exchange Ballroom for a recent company event. We had less than 2 weeks to plan for the event and the team at the Ballroom and Vibrant Table made it feel like ample time to pull together a large scale event. They were so easy to work with, always one step ahead of me in the (quick) planning process. The Ballroom is a beautiful blank canvas to work with and looked beautiful. We were also able to utilize some outdoor space which was a big bonus. I look forward to working with the Exchange Ballroom and Vibrant Table teams again for future events (we definitely hope to use that rooftop at some point!).
