I hired Evergreen to clean up the hack job Timber*** Tree Service did on three of my trees.
Not only did Evergreen do an amazing job cleaning up they also thinned and further trimmed my two ginormous sweet gums trees. I have hated those tress for the past 13 years but they did such a beautiful job that I almost cried with joy. All of my neighbors have positively commented on them as well. In addition to this they took down and hauled away a dead tree in the back and trimmed another tree away from my roof.
They kept to their price quote and the team who worked on my trees were very personable. They will have my patronage for life! Let’s hope it is a long one! :)

I found Evergreen to be professional courteous and reasonably priced. The tree trimming I requested was done to my liking, the plantings in the garden beds below the tree were cared for and the clean-​up was as good as it gets. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

These guys did and excellent job on trimming our tree and cleaning up. We got three different estimates and these guys were cheapest by far. I would recommend these guys and would use them again!

$ 1,450 to remove a dead tree from my front yard, and trim back the other tree. They left ENORMOUS trunk rounds (seriously a few hundred pounds each) just lying in my front yard. After calling them repeatedly requesting that they at least cut them into smaller pieces so I could move them, someone came by while I was at work and cut only the largest ones in half. Awesome, so now they only weigh 200lbs. Totally manageable for me and my massive upper body strength to handle.
So now it’s more of a total of $ 1650 because I have to buy my own friggin chainsaw to finally finish the job about a month and a half after the fact.

4.5 stars but that wasn’t an option. Evergreen Tree Service provided a quick and informative estimate through arborist, Chris. The price was better than most of the estimates and the wait time between scheduling and service was very short, just a few days. Chris, the arborist was friendly and easy to work with and provided advice about some future tree projects but was never pushy.
The only reason I subtracted .5 stars was that the communication from Evergreen was not great. Chris told us that the first opening was on a Tuesday. I called the Friday before and said we would like to go forward with the service and asked for a call on Monday to confirm (and to let me know that I should advise the neighbors as the trees sit between our homes. When I did not receive a call Monday I called and left a message and was called Tuesday morning by a nice woman in the office who told me my tree removal would take place at 2pm that day! I was out of town at work and thus wasn’t able to speak to my neighbors as I would have liked. I asked to have the leader of the crew call me before they started work and I didn’t receive a call from him. I eventually got in touch with my wife who checked on the work but it was done at that point.
The crew that came worked quickly and did not leave any debris. They performed the service exactly as described and we were very happy with the outcome.
So in summary, Evergreen did good work at a very fair price and thus deserves a very high rating. I subtracted only .5 stars for a communication issue that worked out fine in the end. I learned that the company had an employee change at the office during this period and this may have had some effect on our service. We would use Evergreen again without worry.

I did a quick check online and found the good reviews so I took a chance, being a new homeowner. From the estimate (much less than I expected) which was conducted very professionally, to the absolutely on time arrival of the team, the courteousness and professionalism of the team, to the clean up which left my yard cleaner than when I hired them! The whole affair went perfectly and was sone so at a very fair price. highly recommend for removing and trimming trees… great team!

I found this company on Angie’s list (it’s highly rated there), and they did a great job. Removing my fallen tree was super cheap, trimming a giant bigleaf maple was about half as much as I expected it to be. All-​around pleasant experience.

We got several bids, and we had looked for deals on Angie’s List and the like.
These folks did a great job. We’ll go with them again in the future.
They did the most work for the best price and they did more work — the hard stuff — that the other companies were going to just skip.

I do recommend Evergreen Tree Services. I got a prompt estimate (What can I get for my Groupon? All three maples cleaned and raised), the workers showed up on time, were professional and cleaned up after themselves.
And the maples are not shedding quite as much shade and look much healthier.

We had 9, 30+ foot Portuguese laurels along 2 sides of our property. All fine and well if they aren’t let wild for 30 plus years. Unfortunately they had to go, so they had to be removed and the stumps ground. One quite large. We had several bids, this was the best by far.
They crew was amazing. Punctual, precise, and polite. They knocked out the work with no damage to property or plants. Some of the work was over power lines and both our and our neighbor’s rooflines. The following work day the stumps were ground. Both days the crew did a stellar job and made sure to clean up our property as well as our neighbors.

I had to hire a tree removal service for my Mom. I asked for four bids and got them all within a week and all were reputable companies.
We chose the lowest just because my Mom is on a fixed income and had saved for quite a long time. You ever get the feeling when you just talked to someone, that they are the right one? We felt that right after Chris talked to us and he was the first quote. The other three were very professional and would have hire them had the price been right for Mom.
Northwest Tree Service was the one my Mom chose.
There were three poplars (one was 60′+ tall and dead), 25 arborvitaes (to top) and 2 maples needed trimming.
The dead and large poplar was of grave concern for us, it was right in the back corner of our lot with two other neighbors. One wrong cut and big problems!
The crew fell them right where they were supposed to go. When the large one hit the ground it exploded! Limbs everywhere but still in our yard. Wheeew!
They cleaned up after themselves and hauled off all of the wood. No problems with the grass and they used a small tractor lift to pick up and haul the large trunk pieces out.
We had no issues with the crew. OK, only when the trees started to come down did we hold our breath.
After seeing what they did for my Mom’s trees in the front (shaping and thinning), I will be calling them to come out to do mine. No quotes needed, you have my business.

I hired this crew to cut down two small-​ish trees in my yard (the trunks were maybe 8″ in diameter, and both were about 20′ tall). I also asked if they would be willing to give me a truck full of shredded tree bits, as tree care companies are often as eager to get rid of their haul without expense as gardeners are to get a huge heap of mulch at no expense. Eddie said that, since i’d almost certainly be the last stop of the day, they could just dump what they had. I said that’d be great.
The crew came, cut down my trees quickly and efficiently, then left. I’d been summoned to pick up a sick child, so i was not there to ask why they were leaving without emptying their truck on my driveway.
When i called to pay by phone, i asked the woman i talked to if it would still be possible to get a truckload of chipped wood, she said she’d call the owner and ask.
I never heard back from her.
So five stars for being fast, efficient, and clean, leaving no trace but two ground stumps that my trees had ever been there. Minus one star for not following through on the offer of free tree bits and not even calling me back about it.

I called Eddie of Evergreen Tree Services, after watching his crew work on another neighbors huge tree, to see if his company would grind up limbs I had cut myself…3 inch thick in some of them. He said he could give me an estimate in 30 minutes…40 minutes later, the job was done by his fantastic crew… they were done before I finished writing my check. He fit me in between customers and did a superior job. I WILL USE HIM AGAIN FOR FUTURE JOBS… very professional. They left my yard immaculate of debris and left after 15 minutes.
