Massage Therapy– Customized treatments to address chronic pain, injuries and stress. Modalities may include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, pin and stretch, deep tissue massage, and cranial-​sacral therapy.

Acupuncture– Many neuromusculoskeletal conditions have been shown clinically to improve through traditional needling, cupping, and/​or acupressure. Treatments stimulate blood, endocrine and nervous systems and encourage a state of balance.

The health care practitioners at Equilibrium have been providing chiropractic, acupuncture, and/​or massage in the greater Portland area since 2001. The mission of Equilibrium is to provide thorough, evidence-​informed integrative health care, rehabilitation and injury prevention by promoting wellness, education and empowerment. The practitioners at Equilibrium have the experience and expertise necessary to treat such things as: acute and/​or chronic sports injuries, systemic problems, back and neck pain, headaches, and occupational injuries. Business Owner

Dr. Shireesh Bhalerao, in his 13 years of practice, uses an evidence-​based philosophy to guide a broad scope of practice. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Western States (www​.uws​.edu) teaching chiropractic and clinical science. Dr. Bhalerao is also a board certified chiropractic sports physician (CCSP). He utilizes an integrative approach to manage injuries of the spine and extremities using a functional restorative approach. Aside from spending time with his family, Dr. Bhalerao enjoys playing golf and squash.
