Emerald Vapors

This is hands down the worst shop for customer service. Clearly the one guy that is there during the day doesn’t care about what he sells. I’ve been there three times for three different products because they just die. This leads me to believe they are selling product that the manufacturer gives at a discount to offload. Do not go here if you are looking for customer service or quality product.

So Imagine if you can one morning an optimistic patron coming in to a new vape shop. I was on the search or a simple concentrate vape. No big deal right? I ask if they have any other kinds of concentrate bowls since the glass ones are known to be shotty by not fitting well together and also the glass bulb broke in my pocket that very day just by taking a large step not to mention they burn wick instead of concentrate at times when you use them which is just not healthy. Well the clerk behind the counter decides that it’d be good customer service to say and I quote «no because they’re kinda ruining the vaping community» which makes absolutely no sense to me. for one you work in a fucking store I’m sorry but if you’re not operating to make a profit what are you doing? Also talking to customers in such a way that is belittling and just down right rude. I don’t understand how you plan to run a business with such an immature attitude with the help in shop. Good luck getting, helping, and keeping any future victims that may so happen to wander in your doors. I would be willing to retract this review if the manager would like to reach out to me some how for an apology to the way his employee acted.

This was the first vape spot I stop in when I first moved up here from Los Angeles it definitely has a Los Angeles vibe to it. Spartan and spaced out very minimal décor. And a bit of a snooty la attitude.
Yeah their prices are right when I comes to mods and batteries but the juices are mediocre tasting and don’t last long other when rigging a high voltage mod.
Plus there no return policy is not advertised but a fact. That’s a little troublesome if something goes wrong with expensive mod your kind Of screwed .
I would advice walking down to NW E-​Cigarettes on 79^th foster see my review for them.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Terrible customer service and poorly trained staff.
I started coming here when I moved to the nearby Lents neighborhood. I will not be returning.
I recently got the «no atomizer» message on my eleaf iStick. So I take it down to Emerald Vapors to see if they can help me figure out whats wrong. I’m told by the clerk that it means my battery is shot. «Okay,» I think, «I’ll take a new one.» Took it home, hooked up the atomizer and… same message. «No worries,» I think, «I’ll just take it back and buy a new atomizer.» Well it turns out they have a NO RETURNS policy. Even if you are returning something because the staff told you purchasing it would fix your issue and it DOESN’T. I fully intended to return the $ 70 battery and purchase a new tank. I didn’t use the battery and simply didn’t need it. «No returns is just our company policy,» I am told by the hopeless salesman. «So do you want me to come back here weekly as I have been for the past few months? Or do you want to keep saying ‘no returns’?» They chose the latter.
I happily purchased a new tank from the guys down the street at Vape 9. I highly recommend Vape 9. I highly recommend you avoid Emerald Vapors.

I stopped in here one morning when they first opened, and the guy behind the counter was extremely helpful, and super knowledgeable. They have a great set up so you can taste all of their unique flavors, and the fact they make all of their liquid themselves here in Oregon is something I really like. I didn’t feel hurried or rushed to make a decision, & I ended up buying more than I would have otherwise because their flavors were so good.

They only sell their own brand of juice and the employees don’t know what’s in it.
Come on guys, it’s four ingredients, and you’re in Portland. You should be able to answer about where those ingredients came from and what grade they are.
I bought a bottle of the most popular flavor anyway. I wish I hadn’t.
Juice tastes like a brand you’d find at a truck stop.
Get back on 82^nd, go a mile in either direction and hit Vape 9 or EVL.

I noticed this place had opened up a few months ago, and decided to give it try. I have had much difficulties switching over to vaping from smoking cancer sticks due to buying cheaper vapes and juices, also at the other places I visited the sales person was not really on it, and didn’t give out much information.
I walked in and noticed a nie open setting with relaxing feel. I was created by a salesman named Saul. Saul did a great job educating me on their products and assisting me in picking out something that would meet my needs. He was more than happy to answer any question I had, and shared with me how he was able to beat his smoking habit by vaping. He made sure I understood how to properly maintain what I was buying, and offered me to test out any flavors, which were all really good. Saul did a great job of being not only informative but, friendly and encouraging as well.
All in all I was very impressed and would recommend this place to anyone looking to put down cigarettes and pick up a vaporizer.

I am torn about what to give this place. I am mew to vaping, so lets keep that in mind. I came in wanting to get some additional knowledge about vaping and customizing juices after having had a great experience at another vape shop. I had some time to kill in the neighborhood. This is marketed as a shop/​lounge and there is some seating available, but it is brightly lit and less lounge-​like. When i came in there was a man working the counter and a woman, not sure if she was a customer or employee but she was hanging out.
I mentioned i had come in was interested in learning about customization of flavors and blends. He pointed me over to the tasting counter and gave me a tip. They make their own vapes and sell those. I tried a few and he asked me my thoughts. I picked out one because i liked it as is but was disappointed they didnt seem to have the ability to customize there.
That said, the flavor i picked out i was pleased with. The quality of the vape was better than one i picked out previously. He informed me of some specials they run Tues thru Thurs, but notably was the punch card they have (buy ten get one (2?) Free) and on Wednesdays (today) they do double punches. At their price point and for the quality i decided to get another one and get some punches.
I found the service/​atmosphere to be more at the 3 star level. Cant comment on the price of their pieces/​accessories as I didnt look, but the quality and price point for their juices is five stars.
