EFI has been serving the Portland area’s shredding and recycling needs since 2001. We are proud to be one of the largest locally owned and operated recycling and shredding companies in the Northwest. The EFI staff has 100 years of combined industry experience in the shredding and recycling industry. Our employees are widely known for their professionalism, knowledge and dedication.

Our facilities, located on Swan Island in North Portland, are outfitted with the most sophisticated technology to collect and recycle a wide array of paper, cardboard and plastic film products. History

Established in 2001.

EFI was started in 2001 as a commercial recycling business and made a natural progression into the document shredding side of the business in 2006. We believe in providing outstanding customer service and value to all our customers no matter the size of the account.
