Description

Specialties

Our award-winning design approach specializes in combining traditional Landscape Architecture with the deep ecological design discipline of Permaculture.

History

Established in 2004.

While achieving a graduate degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon, principal designer Jadene Mayla opted to take a certification course in Permaculture Design, which she studied on weekends. Her first client came in 2004, shortly after she received her Permaculture Design Certificate, and she has since been hired for such projects as an18-acre master plan, a suburban side yard, two urban double lots and a 670-acre net zero property, among many others. Clients seek her out on the web, and most of her clients seem to be women.

Meet the Business Owner

Jadene M.

Business Owner

Jadene is a creative visionary type, driven to effect larger change in the environment by working on each project as if it were a catalyst toward global recovery of the devitalized landscape. She is sympathetic to animals and plants as cooperative entities, and she takes pride in finding unique ways to incorporate human and animal utilization of natural resources and coexistence with each other. From childhood, Jadene demonstrated a knack for sculpting earth and enhancing connectivity for higher productivity. She infuses her designs with this passion and respect for all life and the intention to empower her clients to become global citizens contributing to Earth’s environmental harmony and demonstrate the power of Permaculture to others as an inexpensive way to heal the rift between humanity and Nature.
