Anyone that knows me, knows that I have no problem forking over money for quality food. and clothes. Having said that, I have been to this store numerous times and purchased a few things and have been pretty satisfied for the most part. I’ve never experienced outstanding customer service here, but remember guys it is Northwest Portland. The year before I had purchased an adorable tulle/mesh mini skirt which I was chagrined to find unraveling before my eyes from various things it got caught on. I came back to Duck Duck Goose to see if they possibly had another one. Luckily the owner found the same style in black. Upon taking my purchase home I realized that there were tears on both the front and backside seams. I took the item back to the store to return it and ended up having to talk the store associate into a refund. The associate called the owner who stated the return policy to her, who then in turn reminded me. I reminded the associate the product I had purchased was defective, to which the owner(on the phone) said she’d send a refund check via mail. I felt bummed about the skirt, but happy that I would at least get a refund. Two weeks later I received mail from Duck Duck Goose and was looking forward to depositing their check. Imagine my surprise when I opened up the envelope to find a hand written note stating that this was only an in-store credit and the receipt attached to it with a circle around their refund policy(as if I didn’t fully understand what the words meant) with absolutely no mention of the defective product. I was taken aback… this is after the owner promised to send a check in the mail for my refund, and acknowledged that this was not simply«a change of mind» purchase. What a slap in the face! I immediately emailed the owner with my concerns and still have not heard back from her. This is absolutely not conscience customer service, and over a $ 47.00 refund? I am sad that I’ll miss out on the occasional purchase from here, but other than that… not much else.

this store is really not worth the prices. the brands are great but if you don’t look like you are dripping with money they don’t even give you the time of day. i’m sorry that i came in after my tennis lesson — or am i? I own a retail store/café — i would never dream of treating people like they do here, and if i did, i’d be out of business — which hopefully they will be soon.

Cute clothes but I must have hit the store between seasons because the stuff out seemed to all be on sale and with very little to choose from other then summery clothes. The owner of the store was very pleasant, but she had her child in the store who was whining about his game and she left mid-sentence to go over to him — with an eyeroll saying«boys are difficult.» Interesting that it would annoy me in a kids store, but it was super unprofessional. It’s still a business, not a daycare. I saw some very nice sweaters and locally made knit hats that I will be returning to purchase once the seasons change.

This is a very cute store, the kids clothing are adorable, however they are pricey. I ended up buying a top for me, plus a couple of big earrings and a chunky bracelet. That was pretty reasonable. They had a clothing party the night before, so they didn’t have too many ladies items. I am glad I got that top, very unique.

Paying $ 100 for a matching tee and bottom for a toddler seems a little extreme to me. First of all, they will grow out of it in two months, no? No greeting from sales lady, she was to preoccupied by the bratty child screaming at her mother about what tutu color she wanted, while the mom screamed back. Very Orange County feeling if I say so. The clothes are cute… but not worth it!

This is the cutest«grandma friendly» store I have every seen. Ruffle overload!!! The clothes are pretty pricey($ 80+ baby outfits) but this is a great gift place for an occasional splurge. The location is great too and the little onesie I bought as a gift was well appreciated and gift wrapped with a big bow in the corner. very cute. Seer sucker boys suits and pink ruffle dresses are(almost) too much for one child, so this would not be the place to ‘stock up’ on tee shirts or go clothes shopping for a school year(unless you have it like that.)

Cute clothes for little ones I don’t have any kids yet(only furry ones), so I love the opportunity to spoil the ones I know. That’s the beauty of being an appointed auntie of your friend’s and family’s kids — you can spoil them! Duck Duck Goose is the ideal spot for finding some cute and unique clothes. I was looking for a gift for a newborn and found the most adorable pajama set. Of course it was a bit expensive for something that she’ll probably only wear a few times, but the fun of it won over reason. And I recently got a picture of her in it, which will last a lifetime. Tip: I’ve heard that their return policy is a bit strict, but I find this to be the case often with smaller businesses. So, I’d suggest talking with the staff to find the best choice before you buy.

Lovely but expensive baby and kid’s clothes on 23rd ave. Very nice, soft and cute blankets. I bought a Cakewalk coat for my daughter on sale and a Baby Star blanket. If its on sale, a great deal. If not, on the pricy side. Carries a great selection of diaper bags as well,
