History

Established in 1920.

Central Connecticut and the Shoreline has been home to 5 generations of the Daniels family. Like our grandparents, we live and work in this vibrant area that combines the charm of a settled New England lifestyle and rich cultural history with great opportunities for the future.

The family business of Daniels Energy began in the 1920’s when our grandad began delivering coal, and then fuel oil. Since then, through tough economic times and good times, the Daniels family has been a vital part of this growing community. When WWII servicemen and women returned to start their families and build homes, Barry Daniels, Sr., made sure Daniels Energy kept up with energy technology and growing demands for clean, affordable fuel oil as well as alternative energy sources. First and foremost, our customers have always been our neighbors.
