Comfrey Massage and Bodywork

I feel a bit guilty because I used a groupon for my appointment, and I thought that if I loved it i would try to be a semi-​regular customer. Magi was wonderful — very attentive, skilled, and professional. I felt relaxed and my aches went away by the end. I do wish to return, but the distance and the cost make that a bit of a challenge — I should have known that going in, though.
If the location is convenient for you, and especially if you like ashiatsu, this is the place to go. Magi is a star.

Hummmm… Magi was sweet and the pressure she applied was deep. There was little talking involved, which I appreciated, she made me feel very comfortable through the entire process as this was my first time trying Ashiatsu. Her feet were small and accompanied hand work as well and I felt she was very detailed. I felt completely relaxed and at ease. Thank you Magi!

Just had a massage today at Comfrey and I can’t believe how relaxed and amazing I feel. I would recommend everyone to go here! I had a slight headache this am and after my massage it was gone. Such an amazing in tune massage therapist! Best massage of my life, definitely adding a massage a month into my schedule!

I have seen dozens of massage therapists, and Magi is one of the best. I have been working with her for over a year now and very much recommend her. I am often beat up from playing ice hockey. Magi is able to get in and work through what needs done without it being uncomfortable.

The massage was very thorough– comfortable environment and very gentle yet good pressure in long arcing strokes.
I would gladly recommend to anyone who is looking for relaxation or healing for their body and spirit!

I went to Magi yesterday evening for a massage with a Groupon that a friend gave me. It was my first ever professional massage, and Magi explained how everything would work and made me feel very comfortable. The massage was heavenly, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed in my life, and I slept deeper and better last night than I have in a long time. I foresee more massages in my future, and I would definitely return to Magi!

She made sure she understood what I wanted out of my massage and asked if I had any certain problem areas or pain. I left feeling relaxed from my massage and pleased with the whole experience. I have had massages by many people over the years and Magi is definitely one of the best! Her studio is private, warm, comfortable, and always smells delicious! Magi takes time to sit with me before the massage to check in about body, current stress level, and anything else relevant to helping me feel fully present for the massage. She has been willing to hear and act on feedback, making the bodywork feel like a truly collaborate experience. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about working with the human body and because I’m in the field of body based psychotherapy, we often get into interesting conversations after the massage. The best part of Comfrey though is the feeling of pure relaxation as I exit the studio. Thank you, Magi!
