I’m sad to see the bad reviews here. I’ve been going to Chic Nail for almost 10 years(!) and I’ve never had a bad experience. I get a pedicure there every 6 to 8 weeks, and occasionally I’ll get a manicure. They have comfy spa chairs with built in whirlpool tubs to soak your feet. Their foot and nail prep is excellent. I’m a runner so my feet are usually pretty beat up, and they scrape and pumice until my heels & toes are super smooth. The entire process usually lasts at least 45 minutes, including a long, wonderful calf and foot massage. All the ladies are friendly and sweet. We often talk about our kids and they always remember that I have a son & ask how he’s doing. Sometimes I just want to play on my phone, or relax quietly, and they’re cool with that, too! Although I usually make appointments in advance, I can’t recall a time(other than on Saturdays!) when they weren’t able to accomodate me as a drop-in. Definitely book in advance for Saturday appointments.

I’ve been going to Chic nails for 7 years now. Kathy and Kim are just fantastic. They take their time, they are detail oriented, they give and incredible foot massage, and the prices are reasonable. You can usually get an appointment quickly. I don’t have artificial nails, so I can’t address any concerns that people have. But I can say that with real nails, they are terrific. I always feel so great coming out of there!

One of the worst manicures I’ve ever had, I was desperate and they were the only ones near me that could do it short notice(this should have been a clue). When I went in I had acrilys that needed to be removed and instead of soaking them the woman just ripped them off… OUCH! Also she was very rough throughout the entire process… Needless to say I won’t be back.

The ladies who work here are the sweetest ladies and they speak pretty good English. It’s a small place, and usually there are 2 people — sometimes 3 — doing nails, but they are pretty efficient. The prices are lower than anywhere I’ve called, and I called about 5 other nearby places before settling on Chic Nails. I just wish the quality of their work was better. They try hard, but they just are not that skillful, especially with artificial nails. They do okay pedicures, but they seem to really struggle with the filing and shaping of artificial nails. I’ve gone a few times now and it unfortunately hasn’t gotten much better, even as I try to coach them. They may do a great job on regular manicures, but I wouldn’t know. I’m afraid I may have to go somewhere else, though it pains me because the location of this place is so convenient, the prices are lower, and they are just so nice.(sigh)…
