Your home is your style, we can help with all of your framing and art needs. We also offer mirrors plain and beveled. We offer installation consulting. Brian has been in the business since he was 16.

History

Established in 1994.

Brian started picture framing in 1972 when he was 16 years old by working for an artist preparing his work for sale for the art fairs. Learning from the ground up, Brian enjoyed designing picture frames and working with all the different materials that make up a frame design.

Brian worked at Yosemtie Framing in Oakland CA. while attending the California College of Art. Upon graduating in 1984 Brian opened Studio Frameworks which is still in operation. Moving to Portland OR in 1992 offered new opportunities for a new business that continues to flourish 40 years after putting together his first frame.

Business Owner

Brian is a trained artist as well as a trained picture framer. Starting painting as a child, Brian has painted all of his life. He had a show in Italy in 2012 and continues painting for his many collectors. Picture framing has been of great interest as good framing is necessary for art to be seen and sold. From this point of view Brian approaches all framing design.
