GREAT! easy peasy on-​line scheduling, very nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, and most of all, an AWESOME job highlighting, root coloring, and hair cut by Leah.

My experience with Yen Nguyen was similar to another Unilocaler’s in terms of her unwillingness to be upfront about costs. I saw Yen a few times and initially was very happy — she was on-​time and efficient, the salon was nice, and she was fun to talk to. But after my third experience I was not happy with my cut (nothing new and different; it had not changed since my first visit) and thought she would be willing to shape it up for a minimal charge, or possibly even gratis (I had already spent $ 50 + tip and was not asking for a major overhaul). But I could not get a straight answer from her about what the cost would be — essentially she said it could be up to another $ 50! Seriously? This was the first time I had ever gone back to a stylist when I was unhappy with their service and IMO Yen made the experience more awkward than it needed to be. So I went elsewhere. I think her efficiency sometimes results in a rush job with sub-​par results.

Leah Taylor is the owner and is the best stylist I have ever had. She listens and really tries to give you exactly what you want, but listen to her advice too, Leah knows exactly what she’s doing. She turned my hair from black to natural looking dark blond over few months and a series of hi lights. Now my hair looks totally natural. Been trying to get the black out of my hair for many years without damaging my hair and she managed to pull that off! I can’t believe my hair looks this great. Wonderful person and extremely talented stylist! Thank you Leah! I have to move out of state, what will I do without her. :-(

The salon looks nice but I would not recommend going to Yen Nguyen for service. She does not act professional and is very impatient and temperamental with consultations. She does not like answering your questions, especially about pricing. So what else are hair consultations for? I definitely felt uncomfortable with going to her for service just from the consultation, because if a stylist is not helpful to that extent during a consultation, I would not trust their service. I definitely don’t feel comfortable with having her do my hair after that horrible experience and think she needs some attitude adjust as well as anger management.

I give my stylist Yen Nguyen 5 stars, as far as the salon goes, It is very nice and upscale, but I haven’t been there enough times to give a good review about it. First impressions deserve at least a four. Yen not only listened to what I needed and wanted, she had suggestions, did a fabulous job on my hair, and gave me tips on how to style it! Very pleasant, it is second day and I STILL love my new do! I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Jaida is passionate about her work and I can see that this is what she was meant to do. She’s also a great listener, funny, warmhearted and very thoughtful. Thanks Jaida for making my first experience wonderful. I will be back for more brow services.

I have been going to Leah at Bel Amici for a long time now. She always takes the time to listen to my ramblings about how I want my hair and it always ends up exactly the way I want it. She is very professional and fun to talk to. She does an amazing job and tries her hardest to make sure you leave happy.
The salon is gorgeous and such a relaxing atmosphere. All of the ladies there are friendly and make it an awesome experience.
